11 years outside the EFL for Stockport and they get Barrow at home opening game. Fantastic!

Should be a good following from Barrow fans, just being on their twitter sold over 5,000 season tickets for first time in history, good first home game v Bradford another good gate with a good Bradford following.

Difficult to tell how hard things will be. We are once again starting virtually from scratch with a new manager and new style of play and some new players. so you can only go on the bookies and historical form. Sometimes feel that playing promotion favourites early in the season can be beneficial if its before they get into a rhythm. You also have to play them all twice.

But looking across the entire list the early season looks tough on paper. Conversely the last month on paper looks easier and nothing like the horrendous last 10 games we had last season. Personally given our historical form I'd rather have it that way.

Doubt we'll be troubling the play-off spots in early season. But that may be better for Wild in the longer term.

sometimes teams take a while to gel - so playing teams expected to do well early can be better than playing them later - especially when they have signed lots of players.

Fixtures can be downloaded to your calendar of choice (except the one with pictures of cuddly kittens on your kitchen wall) by following this link and selecting League Two from the drop-down box, then Barrow:

Does anyone know if the matches in November/ December will be moved if they clash with England knockout matches? Our away match at Stevenage would clash with the first knockout round if England finish second in their group.
