Pete Wild in his post-match interview with Adam didn't say what the injuries were, but I think he said Brough back to non-contact training next week, Brown the week after and Rooney the week after that.

No recollection of it. Like I say - I don't DO friendlies. The fixture with Morton that I saw was played decades before! And was also the last occasion I watched a 'friendly'

Pete Wild says Brown and Brough carrying knocks although Brough took the warm up for the lads,Rooney had an operation and won’t be back for around 4 weeks and will probably miss the opening games of the season.No Luke James there today so wonder if he’s off?

Bit Harsh mate, I like Flash & you never know he might shine brighter under Wild & with a more attacking formation, He has all the attributes but we all know he needs to score more & I hope he dies just that

a good workout and 2 totally different Barrow sides in each half. Thoughts on the new guys and trialists;-
Solomon Nwabuokei looks a great signing - was all over the pitch getting involved and breaking up play.
Sam McClelland looks like a real player - confident, composed and a threat from corners.
Billy Waters good close control, had a couple of shots saved.
Richie Bennett - we know what he can do - and he did it - he gives an extra dimension in attack that we didn't have last season.
George Ray - good in the air composed on the ball. solid.
Tyrell Warren - solid enough performance, played at left back 2nd half, but is usually a right back.
Sam Foley - didn't notice him too much so can't really comment

the 3 triallists 14, 17 and 19;-
14 - didn't impress too much.
17 - i liked the look of - good hold up play and linked well with Waters and Stevens. (Max Riley - the announcer actually named him as the 1st half sub)

19 - in and out of the game a bit, but scored that screamer (Benni Smales-Braithwaite of Southampton according to MT on the EFL 2 forum)

He was awful that riley up front second half.
Hopefully won't see him again
