Season Tickets
Season Tickets
It appears the reason for the delay in season tickets being issued is the ticket sponsors want their name on them and evidently the name was on the first batch received, I wish the club gave the supporters more information on this then we all would not be wondering what the delay is, anyway there you are.

Re: Season Tickets
I was told this when I went in to see how to collect a season ticket having never bought one before. Thought it was common knowledge.

Re: Season Tickets
We're still 16 days from the first home game. Wouldn't even call it a "delay" as long as they are available 3-4 days before the first game and similar for posted ST's.

Re: Season Tickets
If all else fails, the email confirmation for season ticket holders contains an attachment in order that the holder can print off his/her season ticket.

Re: Season Tickets
The tickets were being printed/made this morning when we were there.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Re: Season Tickets
Ideally you just want one card that you can re-activate each season online or in the club shop rather than having to ditch yet another piece of plastic. Ticket sponsors could just be restricted to single matchday tickets.

Well I don't have a printer.Middleton Nick wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 1:31 pm If all else fails, the email confirmation for season ticket holders contains an attachment in order that the holder can print off his/her season ticket.
Re: Season Tickets
We will likely move towards ditching the ST card altogether and your ST Q-code will be scanned on your phone, just like it is now if you buy a matchday ticket online. Those who still want a physical card can still have that as an option but opting out of it would help reduce admin and waste.

But there are still older people who don't have smart phones or understaand QR codes or have printers. Not all as technical savvy as you Jonty. Different tickets company's have different systems and may not talk to each other ...Jonty wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 3:54 pm We will likely move towards ditching the ST card altogether and your ST Q-code will be scanned on your phone, just like it is now if you buy a matchday ticket online. I did hint at that in the last sentence- about still having an option for a physical card / ticket?.mr_grey wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 6:05 pmBut there are still older people who don't have smart phones or understaand QR codes or have printers. Not all as technical savvy as you Jonty. Out of 1000 ST holders, the club could significantly reduce the amount of physical cards/ printed off tickets etc by giving a choice to opt out of having a card. This still allows for use of a physical card if someone wants one. Everybody’s ‘appy

Re: Season Tickets
Not against progress bought my friendly tkts on line to my phone but want a physical season tkt.Remember the day all the readers were down and there was a delay in getting in ground and they opened the extra gate and waved us all through probably guessing actual numbers. Can’t see elf being impressed with that and before safeguarding issues considered. At least we have something to show that we entitled to enter in the event of that problem or a major phone provider going offline at inconvenient moments with dodgy aerials etc so we can’t show proof on phone for those whe do have smart ones.

Picked mine up. Nicely done with a little 'welcome pack'. Nothing major but quick and easy.
