If ever there was a game of two halves that was it! Clinical in the first 3 shots 3 goals. Murdered in the second but gutsy defending against a fairly slick team.

We’ll only know how good that performance was when you see what County are capable of. They may to some extent have contributed to their own demise by all the hype and show boating at the start but we really took advantage of that.

I promised myself that I wouldn’t get too downhearted with a loss. So I’m not going over the top with the win. But I do have a big smile on my face tonight

Wow, ref changes his mind: offside to Barrow

Justice was done, because the ball was clearly out for a throw in to Barrow before it was crossed into the box. The liner was so close to it that he didn't have the benefit of looking along the touchline.

Defence was great today, which was a good thing because we gave the ball away far too much in the second half.

Very impressed with Waters up front, and Josh Gordon had a great game.

Stockport were always going to have a go in the second half, so giving them that early goal was the last thing we needed and then it was backs to the wall.

Did well to ride it out and those kind of tough mental and physical battles will be good practise for future games.

Think in the second half we lost our way and stopped getting at them when we had (few) opportunities to. To be fair, Kay had a go when he came on.

Great result. Can't wait for next week

Just got deeper and deeper second half with no idea or ball to get out, so if Wild says we dont need another another" big man" up front I say we do as Josh Gordan who was excellent won't win the balls to get is out of trouble and relive pressure .
