Barrow v Bradford
Fully aware when we do a push like this it never ends well but c’mon; why not sell it out next week? If we don’t Bradford fans will and they don’t deserve Pete Wilds Blue and White Army; can we get 4000 home fans on Saturday?!

Re: Barrow v Bradford
Thanks to a fixture change up here next weekend I'm able to sneak down for this, can't wait. A few beers already purchased for the Cumbrian Coast Line
I couldn't believe that it was still £16 for advance tickets for the terracing, i.e. no change from last season. That is an absolute bargain for League football. I know Salford charge only £15 but Barrow must be second cheapest out of the 92. If ever there was a "USP" that Barrow could take advantage of then that is it, especially with inflation pretty much affecting every other aspect of life. It wouldn't do any harm to publicise this where possible.

Get the Evening Mail onto it. It might be in by the last game of the season!AyrToBarra wrote: ↑Sun Jul 31, 2022 1:15 am

Re: Barrow v Bradford
If you stay on the the west coast mainline from Glasgow you can get off at Lanc and then to Barrow. It’s a quicker option than the windy Cumbrian coastal route.AyrToBarra wrote: ↑Sun Jul 31, 2022 1:15 am Thanks to a fixture change up here next weekend I'm able to sneak down for this, can't wait. Re: Barrow v Bradford
Normally I would, but that line has become a complete lottery as was the case on Saturday for Barrow fans heading to Stockport it seems. Even on non strike days its becoming disappointingly unreliable. So Cumbrian coast it is, on a train marginally quicker than the Haverthwaite to Lakeside chuff chuff

Pretty sure the away support from Bradford will be sold out...maybe even some getting into home fan areas tooHenneysKnee wrote: ↑Sun Jul 31, 2022 12:31 am Fully aware when we do a push like this it never ends well but c’mon; why not sell it out next week? After upsetting the odds at over 5/1 last week. This week we’re 4/1 at home. When will they learn

The away end sold out a few times last year, and on several occasions there were obvious opposition fans sitting in randomly bought seats in the main stand.gazzawils wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 12:38 pmBradford announced this morning 640 tickets sold out2 doors up wrote: ↑Tue Aug 02, 2022 10:15 pm

It’s a recipe for unpleasantness breaking out, and without scaremongering, I hope the club have a means of preventing this this season.

Re: Barrow v Bradford
I sat in the main stand all last season and your correct the occasional away fan was sat in there if the club had a big away following but there were so few of them that no problems occurred. Northampton fans attempted to purchase a lot for the last game as did Carlisle fans for the Cumbrian derby. The clubs worked together and successfully managed to cancel the tickets purchase by those fans. There is more goes on behind the scenes to ensure no away fans enter the home supporters end on the ground than most realiseHitthebar22 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 2:32 pmThe away end sold out a few times last year, and on several occasions there were obvious opposition fans sitting in randomly bought seats in the main stand.

Re: Barrow v Bradford
Their not interested in making money or the away end would have been extended imagine us being given 640 tickets last saturday we'd be kicking off big style

Re: Barrow v Bradford
Away end capacity will go up once the temporary stand goes up next month. Then the big work starts next summer ready for next season. These things take time we are not backed by owners with endless cash.

Re: Barrow v Bradford
We meet minimum requirements regarding capacity for away fans. It should be 10% of your capacity so we exceed it.
