What a horrible place Stockport is. They thought they had a right to win today. Glad we stuck it right up them

The sacrificial lambs at the Stockport party didn't play ball today

I thought that the only remaining signings were to be 'development' players?

PW said that the two players were 'permanent not loan' signings. They would be joining us for training this week and if they proved to 'fit' what we want would be offered a deal. Wonder if they are two of the trialists who featured in most of the PSFs' ?

Highlights- The penalty shout from Stockport is very dubious. Where is the foul?

Doubt it...as they'd have been training with is anyway.

Are you on about the one which was given and then retracted for offside?

It was a handball by Canavan that it was given for

The one that the ifollow highlights commentator called it a foul on Horsfall and gave Canavan a yellow card for it. I’m not seeing any handball in the challenge to win the ball although it’s not easy to see. Certainly didn’t look like a foul. I’m trying to be impartial here but perhaps justice was done as I don’t see an offside either and in the last gasp melee in front of a big home crowd it can’t be easy. Glad he went with the flag though. We were under the cosh big time and they totally bombarded us with crosses

Yes - I think the ref has to be commended for making that call.

Pete Wild said the linesman had his flag up for quite a while!

I wouldn't mind seeing something like that Stockport home stand at the steelworks end.
Full every home game.

Said the same myself. Pretty agricultural design but is perfect for that end.
