Re: Barrow v Bradford
Big first home game. Need to create a good atmosphere and get 3 points. Let’s beat the Yorkshire b*stards

Just listening to BBC 5Live - talking about up and coming managers - great to see Pete Wild get picked out, particularly mentioning his plans to build a link between fans and players, given the they don’t live or train in Barrow. You can listen on BBC Sounds app, around 12:59pm.

Slight improvement on The Wall, but I prefer Pink Floyd.

Currently at the Cross bar end with a load of young fans. Can’t fault the guy.Bakewell Blue wrote: ↑Sat Aug 06, 2022 1:42 pm Just listening to BBC 5Live - talking about up and coming managers - great to see Pete Wild get picked out, particularly mentioning his plans to build a link between fans and players, given the they don’t live or train in Barrow. Wall looks OK from HS End. It just blends in. It looks well down the Steelworks End to be honest.

I don’t understand it; why have we put all the players surnames on a wall?AugustusCorpa wrote: ↑Sat Aug 06, 2022 2:50 pm Wall looks OK from HS End. It just blends in. It looks well down the Steelworks End to be honest.

Cost of living crisis? - not everyone can afford a programme.
Team support? - some folk can't remember teammates names.
Creat community cohesion? - people can unite in discussion of great graphic design
Assist National Numeracy Strategy - level one, count the Bluebird stains; level two, count the hashtags; level three, count the people around you ridiculing it.

To cover the crap that was there before. Thanks to whoever did it - you did a great job, but perhaps we need to look at it long term. Mind you if the commercial side gets out they will sell a few more advertising boards to fill it up on the back of our current success. Strike while the iron's hot commercial team.HenneysKnee wrote: ↑Sat Aug 06, 2022 6:04 pmI don’t understand it; why have we put all the players surnames on a wall?AugustusCorpa wrote: ↑Sat Aug 06, 2022 2:50 pm Wall looks OK from HS End.
