I’ve always found that minding your own business and letting them do their job, usually prevents run-ins with the police.
Hardy wannabes hence the large police presence and 6 Barrow arrested. Just you keep minding you own business.
There was 1 Barrow fan and 1 Bradford fan arrested. Both have been charged and if found guilty will be banned.

Having witnessed the police presence at yesterday's game at Holker St,I think they handled the crowd control very well with minimum intrusion and only when it was absolutely necessary.
Their handling of the supporters was much better than that of their colleagues in Stockport and they could teach them a thing or two about crowd control.I would even suggest that some of the police from Stockport should be brought here to show them how it should be done.

I don't know who "Boyliegladbach" is but I have never seen a positive post by him on any subject.

I see the good old NWEM have headlined "Police make a number of football related arrests after home game".

Well, two is a number I suppose

5 Barrow arrested before the match in town and only one has been charged under the football supporters act the rest have been released with no further action.

So someone comes into town to watch the Barrow game is not classed as relevant?

One thing I’ll say which seems to have been bluntly ignored is. What about the flare and the pitch invasion. If that was us. The cctv would have been used whoever threw that would have been arrested and any who went on the pitch would have also been arrested and probably charged to the maximum. Where are the standards ?

CCTV will have been taken. There was at least half a dozen Bradford fans that were clear on TV and 2 barrow fans that should be expecting banning orders within the new regulations

Ah but the Hang 'em, Flog' em! brigade want to see instant action, with Bobbies grappling with the numpties on the pitch. Smart policing isn't for them.
