Re: Barrow v Doncaster Rovers match thread
If we had taken our chances this would have been embarrassing for Doncaster - we have had so many this half. Just look at the stats BBC (the possession looks wrong though)

Tom White replaces Harrison Neal
Re: Barrow v Doncaster Rovers match thread
Waters forces Donny keeper into a great save.

Wow, thanks all. As RomaBarrow would say, Forza Bluebirds!
Don't let the old man in.
Re: Barrow v Doncaster Rovers match thread
The team is well organised but i feel still missing that striker like Cook (got another two tonight).
Yes I know not easy to find but imagine how many more goals we would have got having created the number of chances we have this season.

Josh Gordon is a pest - what a handful, a defenders nightmare, he creates the impetus for the rest of the team’s tempo (has anyone seen Seadog Sam?)
Sam Foley is a beast!
Robbie Gotts and Ben Whitfield are tricky little buggers!
Harrison Neal is an absolute workhorse making things look easy for his age.
If you look up calmness in the dictionary there is a pic of Niall Cannavan, never looking flustered.
Josh Kay with another action-packed performance and of course a customary yellow!
I could go on, the others are all equally impressive. We have a great blend of qualities amongst the squad perfectly suited for this level.
I thought tonight would again be a big test against a relegated EFL1 team, other than the first 15 mins we have looked in control. The 2nd goal by Ty killed off any fight back from Donny. Great to see this progress in such a short space of time. The queen is dead, long live Pete Wild!

But would he be quick enough to get in to the areas that Josh Gordon does? Our counter-attacks are frighteningly quick, not sure if Cook would arrive in time.
Re: Barrow v Doncaster Rovers match thread
One of our new strikers hasn't played since pre-season. I think we've also taken chances well in most games, tonight being an exception.

What a luxury though, it could’ve/should’ve/would’ve been 6 if we’d took all chances but yet we still scored 2 with a clean sheet and looked very comfortable in the 2nd half, did Farman make a save in the 2nd half? I don’t recall.
But having Bennett back will be a great boost and an extra dimension to team selections. It’s all good.

Would happily sacrifice a couple more goals for that big fat zero against like we got tonight.
Re: Barrow v Doncaster Rovers match thread
If it had been 6 Doncaster could have no complaints. Looked like scoring every time we broke into their half. Fantastic team and it’s a pleasure watching us right now. The workrate is outstanding.
