The sale of seats in the main stand already looks way past what we have sold six days before games for previous games this season.

Yes it's definitely on iFollow, it's showing as video match pass available on the club website. This will have an effect on the gate, as people who would otherwise have to travel a fair distance may be tempted to watch on iFollow instead.

Nothing like watching it at the ground. The atmosphere should be electric!

Another good win and clean sheet against a team you'd expect to be not too far away from the top come May.
Looks like they dominated possession but we're happy to sit back and let teams play in front of us, as defensively we're very solid and we now have the pace to be able to counter attack effectively. The speed of our team is the main difference between last season and this, we turn defence into attack much quicker and don't lose momentum. Foley and Neal are tireless in midfield and way more mobile than Banks and White ever were, and in Whitfield I haven't seen a better winger at this level - he'll be attracting some attention with his goals and assists. They can all play too and some of the football the other night against Doncaster was the best seen in years..

I've always like Josh Gordon and he was unfairly criticised at time last season. He started off on fire scored a cracker against Newport but as the season went on and the team dropped, he was left to do a lot on his own with little support from the midfield or out wide. He works incredibly hard and wins a lot in the air and holds it well for a fairly short player, nice to see him getting a good run and some goals again. Can't be too reliant on him though the same as some of the other players as form will drop and people tire, so the likes of Bennett when fit, Waters and others will get their chance at some point when injuries/games mount up and will need to take them. That's the good thing now we do have a stronger squad in most areas. Even Brough hasn't really been missed when he's probably been our best player over the last 2-3 years, although I'd still have him in next week if fit.

The standard of football and enjoyment on it's own apart from the results is a million miles from last season and who'd have thought a few months ago that right now Barrow would be second. Surprise package maybe but there on merit and I think it shows all along the standard in this league was never that great - even last season we weren't getting battered but didn't quite have the quality. Next week should be a good marker but there's nothing to fear from anyone.

Regarding watching on IFollow.
I am a season ticket holder,who happens to be in Liverpool next Saturday,so won,t be able to go to the match along with quite a few other people.Holker St will be packed and if people are also watching on IFollow its more income for Barrow AFC.

really hope we can get 4,000+ v Leyton Orient next Saturday a long trip for them but it`s a top of the league clash so hopefully a couple of hundred from them

Barring any train strikes I haven’t seen announced or anything similar I wouldn’t be surprised if Orient go close to selling out next week, used to bring a load in non league; add in the fact it’s international weekend so Prem fans will be looking for games to attend and yer should be getting 4000 in at least…..

Yes, we 'should' be getting 4,000 plus next Saturday.
think I'm right in saying that we got three thousand and sometimes above that when we were struggling-not that many more now when we are doing really well.
I thought the Donny gate was quite poor to what I thought it would be. It's what I expected if we had been at home on the previous Saturday.

Still some cancellations on a daily basis.
If taking the train I’d make sure you leave plenty of time and have a back up service in case yours doesn’t run.

Not sure where you are traveling from but could always look at National Express as back up if times are ok

If you are 60 you will have a bus pass allowing Lancaster Kendal Barrow travel free.

Not too bad. I've done 4 trips on the train so far this season and the companies that have caused me a headache have been Avanti and TPE.

Avanti and especially TPE are less reliable of a weekend but if you leave plenty of time you should be able to get to Barrow by train, even with last minute cancellations. Even if everything was running ok it would be daft to rely on trains that are due to arrive last minute.

At the Doncaster game a lot of empty seats were ones usually kept for corporates which we don’t get many of midweek I think so as in the centre of stand always looks worst.Remember also people budgeting now preparing for winter bills may have been saving money for the orient game..

It’s not just strikes that causes problems - Avanti are tending to wait til the Thursday before announcing what service they can be bothered to run at the weekend.

Whoever signed off their resourcing plan needs to be pelted with gravel and hot Bovril.

If you can’t face umpteen hours on a bus, you don’t know for sure if can get there/back and you know the game’s on telly then I wouldn’t blame anyone for playing safe and sitting it out - especially if you’ve done the trip a few times before….which is a shame, as you say, Orient usually bring a decent bunch up.
