What’s the reason for the split and how will it impact on the club

Does anyone have an insight into how this happened?

Hornby fell out with Craig and it was either Craig leaves the set up and it stays as it was Barrow community sports under the club … or they all go. And here we are. So I’m told

Wonder how the new setup will be funded?

That’s a shame if true.

I’d like to think perhaps this separate business couldn’t be married up with the new plans for the academy. I bet Craig comes back to barrow afc in the future. Knows his shit loves football and loves barrow.

Disappointing news, losing the association between BAFC and an important community presence.

Equally disappointing has been the silence from the club over the change, as in previous situations leading to possible speculation about the reasons behind it. Surely a joint statement or two statements issued at the same time would have been a sensible approach?

We don’t do bad news though, do we?

We don’t even mention fixture changes, let alone personality clashes or whatever the reason may be.

I think Craig and the newly formed Barrow Community Sports Club have been very diplomatic in their statement.
Wonder if our club shop will be getting a very large supply of rose coloured spectacles in anticipation of those darker days to come.
