We had a new manager bounce, football turns very quickly as we’ve seen! But wow the difference of a team that can flip as we have. Two players Wild brought in, Waters scored against Stockport but scores 20 goals last season looks like he’s never kicked a ball, but a realisation he’s that good he’s playing him out wide. Warren past 5 games he’s settled in bit he gets rinsed everytime, Conor brown can’t go forward but will never let you down! Will we stay up, I think we will because of our start, same as last year. Not that I’m comparing him to Cooper. But we don’t have a Plan B, another manger doesn’t like Stevens but he still beats more men the Waters has. And Moyo wow pub team level!

I’m a little baffled as to why we have suddenly abandoned many of the things that brought us success in the beginning. The high-press to the win the ball high up the pitch has completely disappeared and we have resorted to the opposite, enabling teams to come onto us and exposing our frailties at the back (Warren was particularly targeted today). Now, it’s understandable in a sense. You can’t expect to play that way for the entirety of the season because it simply isn’t possible from a fitness perspective, however there has to be a plan B. If aimlessly punting the ball into channels and hoping for the best is plan B, we need to think of another plan and quickly.

The longer this form continues, the harder it is to get out of the slump.

Listening to his interview, this is pretty much what he was saying. He tried to get a more attacking format, but he says he needs to go back to playing his way and (by implication) making us hard to beat.

My synopsis is probably not great, it's worth listening to his interview in full.

Interesting to hear Me Wild's comments. We were desperately poor today again.

Heard that Jim, and I felt it was a strange comment when he said from now on we're going to play the Pete Wild way.
Sounds like he's been listening to others, either in his own training camp, or perhaps even here on the forum.
I just hope we don't go back to the long ball pumped hopefully from the back!

Can’t see any point in that with Josh Gordon as the target man 😳

The key issue is up front. We have no physical presence, Waters looks shot of any confidence, Gordon works hard but doesn’t get enough shots in.

Haven’t seen many games yet this season, but when not there a look at BBC sport always says we are having more possession than opposing team but we just aren’t scoring and therefore not winning. Having the possession means jack shit, we need to get back to winning ways

Before any of the usual suspects moan about Radio Cumbria, Adam did his upmost today in difficult travel circumstances.

There is no chance on this earth that Pete Wild is picking his team, formation, tactics, anything really tbh off advice given on this forum

Adam is very good probably to good for as you say Radio Carlisle does it's best but they do love to be sycophantic over Paul Simpson

Funnily enough if you've heard his post match presser he's flogging Gordon in January because Sea Dog Sam said he's shit.

Manager needs to stop thinking the same tactics will get us results every weeks and change things.
Teams have worked us out.

If only we had an experienced midfielder who could pick a pass, score goals in open play and score from free kicks.

Some people on here going on about pressing we couldn't do that every week they'd be burnt out by Xmas, Wild just needs to sit down and re assess things, looks like more desperation in January unless things change!
