That's why...a deflected shot 🤣

I don't care how they go in but Stevens has been poor for a long time now, even back in the Cooper days. He's lost his way somehow. Looked exciting at times, these days he looks disinterested.

Anyways, I'll take any goal however they come. We've been poor again, and looked very unlikely to score, but I'll take it.

Fingers crossed for a second

FORZA BLUEBIRDS, buon natale tutti. Happy with the point a hard place to go to. Looking forward to getting over for the Leyton Orient game, yet to see them win back in the league yet, perhaps not the best game to pick!

Said before I'd take a point so let try get some points in next 2 home games but we need to create and take chances! Hoping at least 1 new face for Rochdale game

That really isn't conclusive - from one perspective the ball is off the ground and in front of or on top of the line.

Stevens had a very good game and the goal should give him confidence. Apart from that strike and the Foley effort our many shots from outside the box were awful today - maybe something to work on. Bennet must be pushing for a start now - we looked more dangerous with his neat touches and lay offs to the wide players. Whitfield looks like he may need a rest for a couple of games. Not a bad point at all - have to take those on the road against 10 men or not

Awful ground Salford...... looks like it's been built in a local park 😅 apart from that, very lucky to come away with a point today, we seem to want to walk the ball into the net rather than testing a keeper, it's frustrating but take that and hopefully have some good home games in the following days.

Scorers curse has been lifted, Jordan Stevens has rediscovered scoring and frankly there was at least some luck going in our favour at times today.

Hopefully the vicious circle has been terminated.

Bennett due a start, was veery good when came on. Wins balls and holds it up well for others.

In the last 6 league matches, we've scored zero 4 times and 1 today against a team which hasn't won a home league match since August and played 3/4 of the match with 10 men! Currently, the team couldn't knock the skin off a rice pudding and I'm just relieved that we picked up enough points early on to probably be safe from relegation!
Early in the season, Whitfield was playing well and delivering good crosses and Gordon couldn't miss. Although Gordon has gone off the boil he can't be blamed too much as Whitfield is doing very little and Gordon is getting next to no service at all. Unfortunately, most of the times we are scoring 0, we are conceding 1 which means we aren't even getting much in the way of single points.
We desperately need to bring in some attacking threat in the transfer window otherwise we will continue to move downwards.
