Bradford City v Barrow match thread
Re: Bradford City v Barrow match thread
Get in there. Proper battling 3 points. We deserved that.
Re: Bradford City v Barrow match thread
Excellent stuff. Kay intercepting the ball on the half way line from Adam Clayton and leading the charge, playing it to Neal and then getting on the end of a cut back by Garner.
Workrate was phenomenal, as was 'dogs of war/bodies on the line' defending.
Lovely stuff

Get in there! Battling performance, looked a much better outfit than we have recently. Effective. 3 points. Enough said!
We hate Carlisle United, we hate Workington too (and Morecambe), we hate Accrington Stanley but Barrow we love you
Re: Bradford City v Barrow match thread
Pete Wild on the radio ecstatic with the win. We got it right tactically and the players took out the game plan to the letter.
Phenomenal spirit today.

Interesting to hear him say that all he saw was good things v Doncaster. That's when he said he could see we'd turned a corner, everyone covered more ground than any game this season. Followed up with 2 days training on outfield possession. They wanted Bradford to resort to long balls and that's what they did where Ray just swallowed them up.
Don't let the old man in.

Said he'd had a meeting with the owners and they were all behind him, which eased the pressure and gave him a lift on the training ground.

And when Adam asked about the elbow on Neal, he said he has given up with refs now!

Sometimes Pete should keep stum he's only learning and it's best not to say too much when emotions are still raw ( I've said loads straight after a game and regretted it )
Saying that I love his honesty but it's all a fine line, I'M blaming Adam for his leading questions!

Don't know if you were listening Nige, but he said it in a lighthearted way.

So, Pete has the backing of the board. Oh dear. That usually means the sack in two weeks.

Hope the boo boys get off Farman’s case after today. Thought he was excellent on crosses - cam and got everything. His distribution may not have been brilliant but like the other 13 out there today he played his heart out for our team.
