Earlybird season ticket email

Post by StephenD » Thu Mar 09, 2023 9:53 pm

Regarding the emails sent today does anyone know what the price will be after the early bird price finishes.

Not sure why a 24 hour deadline has been given when it hasn't even been on the club social media.

To explain what I mean about a 24 hour deadline.

Do you have a seat in the main stand? I got the same email but my season ticket is for the terrace. Wonder if it’s a generic email sent to everyone

I do but this doesn't feel fully thought through. There's a month to pay early but if you want your existing seat decide within 24 hours and pay within a week...

I have to agree it’ has been very poorly thought through regarding season ticket holders in the main stand

Hang on- you've got to stump up the full cost within 7 days to keep the same seat (that many have had for years and made match day friends with others) or else they will go on general sale.

“We understand the economic crisis but we want your money in 7 days”. Its March FFS- next season is 5months away.

Come on Barrow. What about a deposit to secure your seat, say 10% and then set a date (say end of May) to pay it. To expect full payment within 7 days is not really helping fans save for it is it.

Another cryptic email from the club where they clearly know exactly what they mean but nobody else does I’m sure clarification on clarification will soon be forthcoming.😅

Its clear Mark. Reserve your existing seat by 5:30 tomorrow and Pay for it within 7 days (17th March) or they will put it out to general sale. Not really helping fans save for it (and no option for a payment plan either)

Had the email myself, but noticed its not yet on any of the media sites.

What if I want a steelworks end seat instead of my stand seat? Will they exist? I'll pop into the office and ask 😀
Just say no to VAR :sentoff:

How much cheaper are they now than the summer?

Would suggest the club withdraw that communication and re-consider the implication for those who don’t use social media or e-mail. Good idea otherwise. Good suggestion from Jonty about the deposit to secure seat.

A deposit / instalment option would be nice but I guess there's additional admin burden for the club.

If you are giving a deadline for early discounts people should keep their seat throughout that period. That's how other clubs do it, then they go on open sale.

Aye, if you have a special offer, you need to tell folk how special it is.

Timescales are fine enough though - the ‘early bird’ dragged on til the end of June last season which is daft.

They are, except the 24 hours bit which is ridiculous.

I don't mind if the club withdraws that communication or not as I didn't get the email :o
