Agree - Goody is excellent, with a great line for every occasion.

JW would be a good choice if he is leaving playing behind.

That's a shame Adam and Goody both very good presenters knock spots of a lot of other commentators.

Having seen the highlights, what a great ball it was (very deft touch) from Feely to put Whitfield in to cross for the melee that resulted in Josh Gordon's winning goal.

Same here, Goody has announced his retirement at the season’s end & he won’t be easy to replace & whoever joins Adam has a tough job on his/her hands

You beat me to it!

I think Goody and Adam are great together, the best I have heard on iFollow, although Goody does occasionally make me think we have a new signing (e.g. Whittaker instead of Whitfield)…

I'm sad to hear Goody is calling it a day. The only one who came close was Roy, co-commentator at Boundary Park, but I read Oldham fans' comments that he doesn't pass muster anymore.
Something else to cogitate over in the close season.
Don't let the old man in.

Here is a person you probably haven,t thought about,Freya Dawes. She has a good knowledge of football as is very entertaining in the podcast.I think she will bounce of Adam and although she is the polar opposite of Goody I think she would be a good addition.I will be sad to see Goody go because as although he sounds a bit miserable at times he tells it like it is.Any other suggestions?

Adam has some great assistant summarising at away games many with former links to the club. Could the same not be done for home games when Goody retires who has IMO always done a great job no sugar coating says it as it is

Matt Ryder would be a good replacement imo, (if he’s available) knows his football and has previous experience co commentating.

My preference would be legendary Barrow manager, David Dunn.
Popular side since '03.
