Still don’t get the Wrexham signing, don’t think he’s actually played for them. Obviously now they have been promoted, he will be surplus to requirements, will PW bring him back, I’m not sure, personally I wouldn’t, we need forwards with height.

The only thing I'd be interested to know is whether he would have been within PWs core squad for next season. If so then I'd wonder whether there was some kind of "problem" that I wasn't seeing. And other than that I'd come to conclusion is that the money was the deciding factor.

If its the money then its not that daft a decision. I'm assuming he accepted a significant percentage increase on his BAFC salary. Clearly he is not a marquee signing and he presumably knows this. After Wrexham have gone shopping in the summer I would not be surprised if Billy is spat out on loan either to an L2 club or an NL club. However he will be on a guaranteed salary for the next two years wherever he is beyond what he could have hoped for with us.

There ain't any loyalty in football.

That’ll be exactly it. Wrexham didn’t want to chance being without some cover if anything happened to their strikers and blow their season.
I would guess on BWs part it was absolutely money orientated, can’t blame him but he won’t be part of their plans next season, I would even guess that if they hadn’t have gone up they would’ve been looking for better.

That’ll be exactly it. Wrexham didn’t want to chance being without some cover if anything happened to their strikers and blow their season.

Rumours that every squad member got £250,000 bonus for promotion on social media. Surely that sort of amount can’t be right? Wondering if it is if Waters qualified for it having not kicked a ball for em yet.

It was to be shared out between the squad - more like £10k each.
