'Artlepool Away, wot you reckon?

Post by Algernon-Beers » Thu Apr 27, 2023 7:24 pm

Blimey guv'nor, it's looking like Barrow's gonna have a right good day out at Hartlepool on Saturday! I 'eard those 'Pools are as good as relegated, and Jeff Stelling'll be sobbin' into his bleedin' betting slips when Barrow puts three past 'em.

But what's all this I'm 'earin' about them 'Pools fans doin' a fancy dress day? Dressin' up like blimmin' Citroen Berlingos and drivin' like lunatics? That's proper mental, innit? Straight into the Vanarama.

Anyway, Barrow's the team to watch, mate. They're gonna give Hartlepool a proper spankin', mark my words!

We should win this one,but this is Barrow we are talking about. It depends which team turns up on the day.I hope we win,but Hartlepool are fighting for their lives and will come at us with all guns blazing. We have nothing to lose except pride.I think it will be tight and hope we come out on top,but I wouldn,t bet on it.

Not yet they ain’t. Mathematically they could catch crawley, and part of me hopes they do,and send that pathetic club down.

Bacon and Sausage buns the size of a small baby kindly provided as we waited on the busses this morning through the trust by Pete Wild, Nice gesture indeed what a man!👏

Possibly the most unpredictable game of the season. All depends on the attitude of both teams and whether Pools still believe they can stay up.

One of those games where if we score first the whole game could implode. Even if they score first, if Crawley lead Walsall ( a decent bet given Walsalls current form) the game could collapse.

Just be careful before you bet against a badly wounded animal.
