Any idea how much monetary value we get from this deal per season Mark? It certainly raises the Clubs profile and with the new stands in place for next season, the ground won’t look as shabby. Can only attract new supporters to the Club.

Effectively marks the end of midweek match ifollow live match subscriptions from 24/25 (UK only) but would imagine this deal will dwarf that for all clubs, even for those who may only get 1-3 games per season. I would expect there will be a season equal share for all 24 clubs then extras per match coverage.

The new deal represents a 50% increase on the current rights value and will see significantly enhanced exposure for all EFL clubs with an uplift in coverage across all divisions
It also includes an additional £40m worth of commercial and marketing investment from Sky Sports to boost the profile of EFL competitions, Clubs, and community initiatives
No breakdown as such per league as yet that I have read. But it’s significant investment and preservation of the Saturday 3pm kick offs

Have you smart arse. We are not erecting new " stands" just more seating areas to meet requirements. Unless you call a few rows of seats in the steelworks end a stand, and the corner of the home end a stand, which they are not. I will see Holker Street in a whole new light next season.

Significant income stream as i am assuming it will likely be worth more to clubs than the earnings from ifollow match subscriptions. (£895m over 5 seasons to 72 clubs- how much each division / club gets as a flat rate per season (regardless of being a featured game) remains to be seen.

It does say all midweek games will be available, so there will likely be match pass streaming similar to ifollow, ...only games will be on sky / sky apps.

Hearing a base increase to around 900k from currently 600k so with tv coverage in league and cups hopefully takes us over the £million per season. IFollow loss of currently around 40k

I wonder how the money will be distributed. Will there be a “levelling up” for the smaller teams to be able to do stadium upgrades to look better on TV or for the smaller teams to be able to compete on the pitch against the bankrolled teams?
