Brilliant Idea ! over to you C.E.O. !!

If you’re 13/14/15 you’re definitely not hanging about with your parents doing other leisure activities: you won’t want to hang about with them at football. You want to go with your mates, and then from there hopefully you support the club for life

All the more reason for the club to set up a junior supporters club IMO. Issue with IDs and anyone found misbehaving has there membership suspended.

The more I think about this (bluemooncrab`s idea), It would give kid`s an identity and when I was a young kid this would have been fantastic, I honestly think the club would be congratulated for this and if it came to finance , I would willingly put money towards it because it helps towards our club`s future of which I care passionately.

Some interesting discussions and ideas. I certainly think that the Club would do well to put together a working group to address this. Why not have a family area in one of the stands, where you can take your child, grandchild. I remember often taking my young daughter to Old Trafford where the family stand had much to offer them. She met players who weren’t in the squad who would mingle with them, give out signed programs etc.
I know we’re not in the same position as many of the rich clubs, but I’m sure we could make it a memorable experience for them.

It might be something the club could do through someone like Stagecoach offering a free pass and discounted local travel like they do over the North East.

Yeh agree with above and a lot of what's been discussed, some great points made in fact. I'm not too sure who the supporter's representative is currently who liases with the board but I think now is the time to take some of this discussions ideas and come up with a workable solution.

The names of the two SLOs that I have are Mark Ingham and Kane Ackred. They are very active on twitter account named Barrow AFC Supporters Liaison Officers

Should have hung onto young Christopher Altree in that role.
Was an excellent SLO.

Surely they should be all over this liaising with supporters looking to find solutions , being visible and approachable.

Give them a corner of the ground and a drum, every week its like a wake at the ground we have a great atmosphere when we play away but unless we can play Carlisle every week its quite.
