Re: Top Three 'Hates'
I think Stockport should definitely be on the list.I remember going to the away fixture last season and their supporters hiding in the bushes by where our buses were parked after the game. When we came out of the ground to get on our busses they appeared throwing stones etc at us as we were walking towards them and the police just stood and watched. Horrible supporters.
Re: Top Three 'Hates'
I suppose "our universe" precludes teams in the Premiership or Championship, levels we are realistically unlikely to achieve any time soon. So at or around our level:
1. Carlisle United
2. Stevenage
3. AFC Fylde
*This may change next season when we're not playing any of them.
But above any of these, the teams that I give a little inward "Yayyy!" for when they lose and wish nothing but multiple relegations on, are:
1. Newcastle United
2. West Ham United
3. Everton
1. Carlisle United
2. Stevenage
3. AFC Fylde

Being [SwearFilter] poor is not a reason for hating a club but 3 grounds I will never return to are,
Wrexham for the aggression and hate the fans showed
Harrogate for the admission fee charged when I could hardly see the game from my seat
Guisely for their inhospitality. It is an honour to have Barrow fans visiting, be nice

Just say no to VAR
Re: Top Three 'Hates'
1. People who are more interested in how the crowd are behaving than whats actually happening on the pitch
2. the whole crossbar end of the ground
3. the 2 guys that stand behind me who have clearly never played a game in their lives and shout the most stupid stuff ive ever heard
or
1. Liverpool
2. United
3. Tottenham

Re: Top Three 'Hates'
Don’t hate any club.
Supporters change, teams change, owners change - I’ve had bad experiences everywhere but I wouldn’t nail that problem permanently on one club or set of supporters.
I value our healthy rivalry with the Wukkies, shrimps, Carlisle, (Lancaster back in the day) and don’t wish ill on any club as we’ve been on our knees before.
I know this is a friendly post Steve

Re: Top Three 'Hates'
Omg ..how I forgot about these shi t houses!!
York deffo... Remember them clowns throwing glasses over top of tally ho one eater fixture and we all had our kids there!! And if I remember correctly, it was a barrow fan that got lifted and not any of the York goofballs!
And yeh Oxford of course!! Their place fa cup game, what a bunch of cretins .!!
Globally or internationally
Hate Liverpool, probably more cos of their support and "it wasn't me" card! And that orrible accent..
Real Madrid.. think more so cos I was told or read that they get propped up by the government (shoot me if I'm wrong?)
Galatasary (excuse spelling) again, nasty nasty place!! Though imagine if HS could muster up some of that hostile and loud atmosphere!
Re: Top Three 'Hates'
Aye probably bans for eternity and disapproval from on high for suggesting it. I think the only sing at away games stance by some is a good suggestion for the coming season.olbarrafancumbak wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 6:40 pm

FC Koln

Re: Top Three 'Hates'
Maybe they're too small to care about, but I'll never forget the way that people in Atherstone campaigned that "their lads" were all innocent after they attacked a bunch of Barrow fans. If there's one club I'd be happy to see go under and a town left without football, it'd be them.
Re: Top Three 'Hates'
A sad and frightening experience for those present that day but why wish harm on the club and their true supporters because of the actions of mindless thugs, some of whom were probably visiting the ground for the first time because 'their' FL clubs weren't home that day?

Spare us, please. It's tiresome now... rivals are rivalsFanzoneFan wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 8:11 am I realise this is all a bit of fun but I can’t understand why anyone would ever have Morecambe on their list . You lot must have very short memories they were the club that arranged for a fly past with a banner saying welcome back to the football league for us and they also years earlier had voted to keep us in the Conference.
1) Morecambe
2) Stockport
3) Carlise
