Players we might be interested in....

For all things Barrow AFC. Keep discussions civil and fair, we're all Barrow aren't we!

I am not sure where you got the details but I am sure I saw him get sent off at Holker St and more than once
My facts are 100% correct.
Will check but that looks like the Mail I definitely saw him sent off at Barrow.
Plus like I say others actually said they saw him sent off

Might have been my youth at the time but I actually liked the lad. Put himself about with zero finesse but opposition players certainly knew he was there. My kind of player - at the time.
I am not sure where you got the details but I ve done quick search and PJ Daly mentions Liddell in 2016 on here not sure how to copy it.
He states he could not remember how many times he saw him sent off.
Think you are all at sea Skipper hope its not on the Titanic.
Think you need to take more water with it Pedro. Can't see where I even mentioned 'sending off'.

Thanks for the article. Apart from the main content, the league table only shows 4 current EFL teams. If we aren't already, we should be very grateful for where we are currently

Former loanee Tendayi Darikwa released by Wigan where he was captain. The lad who came with him from Chesterfield on that ill-fated loan ( one appearance each before Chesterfield recalled them early ) Craig Clay has also been released by Leyton Orient where he became part of the furniture over several seasons.

Am probably one of the few bluebirds supporters that was present at the one game that Darikwa and Clay played. It was at Rushden & Diamonds on 30th October 2010. It was another of those horrible visits to Planet Rushden and we were hammered 5-0

Neither were remotely memorable but I do remember the names on the shirts and wondering who the hell they were. They then just disappeared. Darikwa in particular has had a very impressive career since. An established Championship player and actually turned out for Burnley in Cup competitions whilst they were in the Premiership. Clay much more of a journeyman player plying his trade between League One and the NL. Clay was very good at Leyton Orient and I'm a little surprised they let him go. Doubt either would be Pete Wild players and wouldn't be surprised if at least one might be headed back to Chesterfield where they both started.

I was in the army and serving with vinne jones’ son at the time. I thought I’d take him to this game was it not 5 before half time or am getting that wrong.

Just clicked the link 3 down at half time. Anyway one to forget for him.

It was terrible. An awful afternoon for us at Nene Park. Best consigned to your deepest memory bank.
