Was that John Paul Kissock?
I'm not sure; the words 'zico' and 'black' have just come into my head. I will go and google it.

Congratulations on writing the most idiotic thing I've ever read on a football forum.

Back from Google with Ryan-Zico Black. From Guernsey orange jelly but played for everyone up north - Morecambe, Lancaster, Bamber Bridge, Fylde etc. The record shows he was on Barrow's books in 2007 with no appearances and funnily enough no goals. I think that's him but how he acquired the 'Non-League Messi' tag I definitely don't know.

I’m sure I remember RZB scoring one if not more against Lancaster in a Xmas fixture. But I might be wrong

It was John-Paul Kissock - the extremely annoying announcer at Macclesfield used to shout “IT’S THE NON-LEAGUE MESSI… JOHN…PAUL…KISSOOOOCK” every time he scored against us. Which seemed to be quite often.

Bullseye! I do remember that now - well done Moribund and indeed Bluebirds123.

Just been reading about RZB on Wiki and it is a good read to be fair and well recommended; a tale of calamities and unfulfilled ambitions which led to him playing in front of 70,000 fans at Brazil's famous Maracana stadium. However despite his record on Wiki indicating no appearances and no goals for us, it goes on to say this in the Barrow section. "He started his Barrow career in good form; scoring three goals in his first six games and playing in his favoured central role alongside loanee Tom Pope."
True or Bluff?

You're thinking of the previously mentioned Anthony Wilson from North Ferriby. He came in under Edmo at the start of the Casson era.
Popular side since '03.
