Definitely a pen from where I sat, I'd be wanting that all day long. That being said what a result and what a winner. Great 3points

Excellent all of them. Campbell best player
Plays in blue and white cos aberdeen are shite.

Agree Boylie. Campbell looks the business in midfield. Works very hard. What a great signingboyliegladbach wrote: ↑Sat Aug 05, 2023 6:26 pm Excellent all of them. Campbell best player

We and Tranmere were both in for the signing of Campbell. The boy chose wisely.
Don't let the old man in.

Brilliant result , brilliant start ... Let's start a long run ....

First match : Barrow v Northampton Town : Sat. 24th Sept. 1960 ... won 1-0... ( which was nice )

Notts County's goalie sent off after 15 minutes so Sutton's result probably not as good as it seems.behind the goals wrote: ↑Sat Aug 05, 2023 6:45 pm Great result and Campbell going to be a very good signing, top of the league in town next week lets get a good crowd in.

Re: Tranmere Rovers v Barrow match thread
Great result. I particularly liked our wing play - Worrall and Newby had great games, wearing the traditional winger numbers 7 & 11. We played some good football.
Even Ollie Yates had a good game for once
(apart from the penalty - haven't seen a replay but I thought it looked dubious at the time).
Tranmere boss on Radio Scouse reckoned they dominated the game. Hardly - they may have had more possession, but didn't create much. Our defence looked pretty solid today.
