For all things Barrow AFC. Keep discussions civil and fair, we're all Barrow aren't we!

If it doesn’t get rescheduled before then, we’ll have only had two home games in the league before September 30th!

That’s shocking….without knowing the answer but how many times has that happened at L2 level? Can’t be many.
I wonder if a club has to prove how many players they will be missing to call a game off?
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Crazy, warm weekend as well, would have been a big crowd, will now be on some wet windy Tuesday evening?

They’ve had 4 players called up

3 or more call ups and you can request a postponement

It can be requested. It doesn't have to be granted. Barrow are too nice

They make the request to the EFL. It is they who have accepted it.
Don't let the old man in.

Not at League Two level, but Morecambe have done this a number of times over the last couple of years. As far as I can tell one of the players called up hasn’t even played for them this season and another was signed yesterday. Seems a bit cheeky.

I wouldn`t mind but they`re only under 21`s , it`s an absolute farce they know when they sign these players what could happen !, look when the African nations play Premier league club`s lose a lot of player`s .

The three players involved have been called up to play for the Isle of Man, Isle of Dogs and Walney island.

That's totally messed up next weekend for me was going to bring my 3 grandkids up to see the game. If what is said is true above then Morecambe are really taking the proverbial.

Thank god I'd not bought the match tickets or booked accommodation anywhere in the area.

Barrow will make a loss now as a local derby on a weekend has been postponed for some wet Tuesday evening I can't and some others won't be able to make it up for. Won't see Barrow at home, for me, till late October now. Great.
