Garner just doesn't have any redeeming traits. The first half was wasted with him up front. Whits' goal was as good as I have seen. What a man.

To be fair, his strike partner Telford did nothing in first half either, so you could say that it was the conditions and the lack of decent passes to them. However, there was one occasion when he failed to challenge in midfield that really was annoying.

I don’t know what is wrong with him. On rare occasions, there is a glimpse of some talent - an intelligent pass or something - but most of the time he is ineffective. Perhaps his confidence is shot? Last season I kept thinking “give him time” but it has been a long time coming.

I don't know who recommended this player to Barrow who reportedly paid a record fee for him of some 65K for him, I don't think Holker Old Boys would want him on his showings so far this season an absolute waste of time and money.

When he jibbed out of the 50 50 tackle on halfway you could hear the groans of disapproval. Never gone down well with the popular side that, but it was his chance to show what he could do and he fluffed his lines badly. In fact he didn't even learn them.

I don’t think it’s a question of knives out because we’ve gone a couple of games without a win. One can only assume GG is a world beater in training (Wildy sees him every day) so what do we know. We can only comment on what we see and being honest it’s not very much. I would love the guy to find some form but you can’t wait forever. One thing for sure though Pete Wild and his staff will sort.

I'd put Worrall in because against Wrexham they'll be trying every trick in the book so you need experience whereas I know Luca gives his all but some games require more than this, as for Proctor I don't know what to make of him he doesn't looked settled or does anyone on here know something we don't?

It's a common workplace dynamic, you see someone struggling, you empathise and want to help. When Garner was given that penalty to take, even his celebration was half-hearted and uncertain. We would all be better off if he was given a fresh start somewhere else in my opinion and we would wish him well.
