Didn't he have an attitude problem at morecambe?

Does he fit Pete Wild's "good man before good player" edict?
Enlighten us all how you know of this attitude problem,!

It was a question Des, hence the "?" punctuation. (as opposed to your odd ",!" use of english.)

Just a bit strange that he went from being the best thing since sliced wholemeal at the Montezuma Stadium, to public enema number one.

I can't ask the prawns' fan, because I'm blocked from all their socials.

Well the Morecambe fans certainly believe he down-tooled for most of last season after being denied a move to a bigger club. I suppose if he signs for us, his wishes have come true.

Can’t see him being popular with Pedro though.

Whether or not Stockton actually comes to HS is clearly of great interest. From the noise, banter and in some places absence of comment it’s pretty clear to me at least that a genuine offer has been made.

Which begs the question - why? It’s hopefully not as stupid a question as it sounds. PW is many things but he doesn’t tend to Bullsh1t IMO. He has been pretty adamant in his no one in, no one out view.

Far from our budget being used up this bid even if the numbers quoted are anywhere near the mark would smash that view. Records broken everywhere.

From what I can gather, Barrows interest in Stockton has materialised quite late. Charlton have been talking to him I believe for a bit now.
His departure from Burton has also been speculated for a while now.

We appear to have swooped in at the last moment with an offer and this is also very un-BAFC like behaviour. In the excitement and thrill of the chase not much has been offered about what this will cost us in terms of our squad

Barrow is not a club that simply buys in players and discards what it doesn’t want. So if the club is really prepared to splash the cash then there must be another situation that it is trying to manage that would help explain this move. And I doubt Ged Garner going out on loan would cover it.

Duffus went out within days of him saying that utopia would be nobody in, nobody out. Things change -
and in any case the public narrative and what’s happening behind the scenes don’t always match - and i’d rather his public line was that we’re not looking to be active rather than making it clear we’re desperate for signings. That just makes agents add a few quid to the wage demands.

Let’s just see what happens.

I wonder if the club receives offers for Spence. Our biggest sellable asset.

Apparently Whitfield was watched by several scouts at Sutton. Who knows with this 'window' mullarkey. Remember Waters' move came right out of the blue.

Only Whitfield. Given our form this season I would expect more than just Whitfield to have caught the eye of scouts.

You took the words right out of my mouth, imagine how the other forwards would feel ? I take what Managers say with a pinch of salt it`s on a par with player`s kissing the badge !

Don't disagree. My only reason was Whitfield was singled out in a mention on the same site/page as our interesst in Stockton

Agreed. Supposition and conjecture can get very very weary, particularly if it’s supposedly by someone who thinks he knows more than others.
It’s a forum though, I know.

One other thing that might come into this is the rumoured Remeao Hutton move from Swindon to Gillingham. When he moved to Swindon it was for an undisclosed fee, which is quite often used as a way of saying free but there is a sell on clause involved. Any money received would help with our transfer budget.

Rumoured to be around 200k. Also been getting a bit of stick which is odd considering the amount of assists he gets for them
