The ink has now been put to paper. Hope it works out for all concerned as only time will tell.

Another statement signing. The fact that he and all our recent signings have chosen to come to Barrow, rather than other clubs, is a testament to the work the Board and Pete Wild and his back room team have done. Let’s kick on in the second half of the season - we have a great base to build on.

If Stockton can replicate his scoring record at Morecambe this signing could really make us serious promotion contenders.

Campbell, Spence ,Worrall, Chester ,Telford and now Cole Stockton I can't believe the Quality we have signed, we now need to make Holker Street really unpleasant for visiting team's the last few home games have had zero atmosphere!

Agree. My only reservations are that he wasn't prolific at his other clubs. Only time will tell. Hope the lad does well for himself and us. :scarf:

This exactly!! We are now been looked at in a completely different light now and it's down to having a great local ambitious board along with a fan base that matches the desire of the club! Yes it might be scary IF we do go up another level but there were plenty that worried about just getting back into football league and hey, we are holding are own!!
Seeing kids on the park (in ulverston I might add) wearing Barrow shirts having a kick about instead of the usual united, Liverpool and city shirts is another sign that things have changed and improved massively!! The fan base is definitely growing and it's amazing to see.
A sure sign that pw and the board are pushing for league one!!

What a signing Iain Wood has been

Hopefully once Stockton gets fully match fit he bangs them in for fun and we cement our play off place

I appreciate the sentiment but in both the first two seasons it was scary....

We just need to get the passes into the likes of Stockton and Telford etc and we would have some serious firepower

That's what I'm talking about!

A Striker who knows how to thump the ball with conviction into the back of the Net!!

BUT, NO Goals for Burton in his 8 games for them - that uncomfortable stat for a new Striker is painfully familiar to us....
