Stop crying about it the full interview is here https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0h8wnkybluessupporter wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 6:11 pm Pete Wild interview left until the last and had to be cut short, but it's alright because it's going up on BBC Sounds! What a joke this sports coverage is.
Three quarters of the after match show devoted to a team that is failing and will be relegated, whereas we have a team that is in an automatic promotion spot and gets such shabby coverage between 5 and 6.
Instead we have Lummy squaring up to people on social media. Someone needs to get a grip of him, and give a winning side the coverage it deserves. We get full match coverage which is great and more than a lot of teams get, but the after match is very definitely skewed towards Carlisle United, who have lost their last five!
Perhaps it's only to be expected with Radio Cumbria based in Carlisle, but it is very frustrating!
BBC Cumbria is funded by the license fee.
We should have 50 % of the coverage
When Carlisle get relegated and we get promoted will they be the team that is interviewed second.
