2 of the players dropped weren’t even playing Tuesday so not sure that logic worksBigfathoss wrote: ↑Sat Feb 17, 2024 2:19 pm Tuesday was unacceptable. Some players clearly needed some shock treatment...and this is it. Talent is nothing without effort and free rides need nipping in the bud.

Re: Salford City v Barrow, match thread
After Wilds comments post match Tuesday not massively surprised to see Warren and Mazeed come in but thought it might be as a change to a back 4 rather than just coming in as the wing backs. Still think we need to give Telford and Stockton a run of games together at some point soon as well…..

Wild has made us more solid and to play on the break, and hopes Stockton produces his magic again.
Re: Salford City v Barrow, match thread
I am reasonably happy with that selection.
I think a few of us on here suggested after Tuesday that we needed to go to a back four. Feely and Mazeed would be the obvious choices for 'full backs'. I can see the logic of Acquah and Stockton up front - big man and goalscorer combo. The midfield options look like 'perm four from 8 and we would all have different ideas on that.

So what line up would you have picked mateDDevine wrote: ↑Sat Feb 17, 2024 2:19 pmSpeak for yourself mate.
I didn’t ask for 3 players who’ve probably played less than 3 games between them to come straight in.
Neither would I have asked for either of the 3 to be dropped.
It’s the constant changes that unsettled the unbeaten run initially.
That said. I hope it’s a genius move because it can’t afford not to be

Handball. The big black striker No25 handled the ball before the shot. He pulled it round from behind him and the ball ended up with the scorer. Otherwise the ball would never had ended up where it did !
