8 games to go and already overhauled last season's points.

Just got home and tuned in to Radio C. Another evening of anguish at Carlisle it seems! Is there any point at the start of the programme every week going over everything that Carlisle did wrong? Let's hear about the team that have something to play for!

Great to see we won though. Lots of shots according to BBC Football, but few on target. It's the points that count!

Anyway, it's far more important that Carlisle conceded 2.

Important win - we did better in the second half than I expected once we got through the first five minutes. They didn't have many chances and we had a few and really should have scored at least one more. Watching on iFollow, the pitch looks like it is improving as the weather gets better - still poor in places and bobbly, but not getting any worse.
Crewe drawing with Wimbledon was a good result for us. Shame Crawley and Gillingham won, but if we keep winning, it won't matter. No idea what result I want in the Stockport v MKD match at 5:30!

Our play-off place definitely solidified. The teams immediately outside the top 7 have played 2 games more. Walsall, on the same games as us are 8 points worse off.
