Nice to see all those pitch invasions from cocky Donny fans meant nothing in the end. Lovely.
I have to agree. The Donny fans have been the most arrogant set of prats for last 4 weeks. Nice to see them get brought down to Earth with a bump. And they called us bottle jobs.
We are without the biggest bottle jobs in football this season to be In the top 7 nearly all season and to miss out is a disgrace. It was poor mentality in the end not believing we deserved to be where we were. I bet crawley had a budget half of ours.

Bloody Hell! 8-1 to Crawley. The biggest ever win in a play-off.

Life's a shit sandwich mate and sometimes it's always dinnertime!

Would rather be top 7 and miss out (yes gutted) than be fighting in the bottom 3 like we have done for many a year..

Always next season pal..

Being Barrow supporters we all know what a shit sandwich is but this time it felt different. How the hell did we manage to achieve mission impossible from the position we were in? It was harder not to achieve a play off slot yet somehow we managed it. Of course we’re glad we’re not bottom feeders but previous posters are right we bottled it big style. An opportunity missed for me, we can go into the we would get relegated straight away but then again we could kick on who knows. Yes we do have the right manager but I’d also like him to have more belief he got the team into a brilliant position but somehow didn’t manage to get us over the line, only he knows where it went wrong. Gutted would be an understatement but as others have said we’ll be there next season stabilising and hoping there are at least two teams worse than us.

Good luck to Crawley as they are going to need it. I would sooner be winning games in league 2 than getting pummelled in league one as I suspect Crawley will be.

Scott Lyndsey now at the top of the EFL wanted managers list. Already waiting for Wrexham, Stockport and Bradford to make their offers for Daniel Orsi.

On the positive side our club will save a few hundred quid on travelling costs. And The Railway at Crewe stays on the away supporters agenda.

What a mad mentality. Those Crawley fans will have had the day of their lives today. They wont be bothered if they don’t win a single game next season

League 2 has lost: Stockport, Wrexham, Mansfield, Crawley, Forest Green and Sutton

and has gained: Cheltenham, Port Vale, Fleetwood, Carlisle, Chesterfield and Bromley.

Not a lot to fear from the newcomers except, perhaps, the resurgence of Chesterfield.
