Re: Carlisle away
Will the tickets be e-tickets on your phone or do you have to pick up a physical ticket from the Club.
Re: Carlisle away
Yeah they’re physical tickets, pick up from the club or get deliveredbehind the goals wrote: ↑Sat Jul 27, 2024 12:24 pm Will the tickets be e-tickets on your phone or do you have to pick up a physical ticket from the Club.

Re: Carlisle away
Does some of the away end still overlook a terrace/building rather than (and this is mad) the actual pitch?

Yes the away end is still at the end of the offset east stand with part of it overlooking the waterworks terrace.HenneysKnee wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2024 5:13 pmDoes some of the away end still overlook a terrace/building rather than (and this is mad) the actual pitch?

Re: Carlisle away
Doesn't seem the same interest this time around don't know how many will travel early kick-Off 12-30pm won't help, only 4 direct trains from Barrow to get before kick-off, 05.58 Arr 08.32. 06.51 Arr 9.24. 07.50 Arr 10.17 09.28 Arr 11.59, hopefully enough will travel to support the lads.

Re: Carlisle away
Sky coverage of games will kill away followings this season in EFL2. I would be surprised if we take 1000 to Carlise given KO time and tv coverage of the game.behind the goals wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2024 8:37 pm Doesn't seem the same interest this time around don't know how many will travel early kick-Off 12-30pm won't help, only 4 direct trains from Barrow to get before kick-off, 05.58 Arr 08.32. 06.51 Arr 9.24. 07.50 Arr 10.17 09.28 Arr 11.59, hopefully enough will travel to support the lads.

Re: Carlisle away
Must admit you are 100% correct the Sky deal will effect us especially the away fans attending, our average home attendance last season was 3,800 that was helped by 5 games against Wrexham , Notts County & Stockport and the last 2 home games attracted 10,100 fans, I can see a much lower home average this season.Main Stand SeasonTct wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2024 8:57 pmSky coverage of games will kill away followings this season in EFL2. Re: Carlisle away
Well if you sell your soul to the devil (sky) you reap what you sow. All for an extra £75 k a season. That will soon be swallowed up with the drop in attendances for tv games.behind the goals wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2024 9:21 pmMust admit you are 100% correct the Sky deal will effect us especially the away fans attending, our average home attendance last season was 3,800 that was helped by 5 games against Wrexham , Notts County & Stockport and the last 2 home games attracted 10,100 fans, I can see a much lower home average this season.Main Stand SeasonTct wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2024 8:57 pm

Re: Carlisle away
There is no way I could go, even with a one o'clock kick off.
I fact, I would never go to Carlisle again because of the early kick offs'- things are just being ruined.

Re: Carlisle away
The 8:05 train and the 1519 train return have now been made a special not stopping at any stations on route, great as one of my mates was getting on at foxfield
Re: Carlisle away
Not sure what the hell is going on at Brunton Park at the moment, ticket details still haven't been released for our fans.
The friendly on Saturday against 'Stockport' has only the main stand and Paddock open, as is the league cup game against Stoke, which is only a few days before the Barrow game, the latter being a bit surprising as most people were expecting a decent crowd against Championship opposition.
But..........I'm presuming with your tickets going on sale that it 'IS' going ahead on the date specified as there was talk of switching the two dates to give the builders more time to finish their work.
However after going past BP today, the Warwick Road End and East Stand both still look like building sites.
Its going to be an interesting couple of weeks???

Indeed. To a regular passer-by, there seems to be a lot of serious work still under way.
