Still one of the cheapest clubs to watch in the league, probably to our own detriment.

You want a team challenging in Div 2 then there is a price to pay for that. Still probably one of the cheapest in this division. if you don't want that then there is always Holker Old Boys.

On the price of tickets full marks to the club for reducing the tickets for the Port Vale League Cup tie to £10 - I don’t think you’d get to see the likes of Workington and Lancaster for that amount.

So it’s just me that’s not happy with the unannounced or without reason price rise? Without any big investment in the team to justify the rise.

We have signed seven players took another 2 on loan. Paid undisclosed fees for 2 players and two of our signings are on 3 year deals. I would say for a EFL2 club of our size that's significant investment in the team. Add to that the £50k spent on the pitch the £15k spent on the training pitch and the cladding being added to the two new stands the outlay this close season is pretty substantial.

Some of the views in the new stands are absolutely atrocious. For any sell out games I think tickets that have an obstructed view of either goal should be offered at a reduced price. Some seats, the goalmouth is right in line with the floodlight pylons. You’d be a bit peeved not being familiar with the sight lines, paying full ticket price and ending up in one of those seats. The club, knowing these are terrible views could offer these at a reduced price.

I’m honestly surprised they have been as cheap as they have been since we got promoted; owners have had massive massive outlay that most people would have at least tried to reclaim some of that back through much higher ticket prices.

Only quibble as mentioned earlier in the thread is this should have been announced at same time as season ticket price announcements

WUM
Agree another WUM, some people still believe players should be payed £100 per week and travel in cars for away games, the cost of running a Club at League 2 level is very expensive, and agree early bird season tickets are good value and if 65+ very good for a seat £275 works out at £11.95 per game.

Again, I reiterate, prices rises without significant investment. Dom Telford 38 games 4 goals. Emile Acquah. 44 games 8 goals. But you happy with a nice fluffy pitch, and new cladding. Now tell me where the investment should be?

Again I reiterate we have signed 7 players took another two on loan two of our signings on 3 year deals. As for Dom Telford he was prolific for Newport and top scorer for a struggling Crawley side. Wilds style never suited him. I’m confident the change in style will suit him and over the course of the season will prove his worth as will Acquah in his second full season with us. Add to the cost of pitch maintenance and cladding which if not done could result in the stands being closed alof has been spent by the owners that don’t have a bottomless pit of cash like then owners of Wrexham and Stockport

Prices were known when Crewe tickets went on sale.

Year on year 10% increase? Perhaps the WUM could show her/his working from when tickets for Football League games became available for the first time in, IIRC, late 2020?
