Ticket price rises
Re: Ticket price rises
Just picked York City as an example. No reason just a Northern team in the National league.

Re: Ticket price rises
Tbf we'll still be one of the cheapest teams to watch this season
Just my opinion
Re: Ticket price rises
Its still among the best prices in this league, I suggest you look at some of the prices down South and Crewe in the midlands, I think the club have been fantastic with prices some of them the lowest in the league.

Re: Ticket price rises
Every club has a cheapskate and ours is a wind up merchant. If you don’t think it value don’t come I am sure that our attendance figures won’t be affected by your absence .As been stated by others every thing has gone up we get a better deal than lots of clubs give.Am speaking as an early bird season tkt holder with concession.
In relation to the point raised by someone regarding the view from stands etc I think one option would be to show certain areas as restricted view then people can make their mind up.They used to do this when the bodies televised lakeside darts was on as venue not large.People still paid same price for tkts.

Again, I reiterate, prices rises without significant investment. Dom Telford 38 games 4 goals. Emile Acquah. 44 games 8 goals. But you happy with a nice fluffy pitch, and new cladding. Now tell me where the investment should be?
How have the club managed to avoid breaking the planning rules that were approved to make the stands "permanent". As part of the council approval, the cladding was to be completed by end of Feb.

Well said mate. This guy whoever he is must have been living under a rock not to notice the improvements over the past four years. The changes are immense and won't have come cheap.I have supported Barrow AFC since the early 1960s when you had to pee against a wall with a bit of guttering for a drain. We now have male and female toilets with running water,a Fanzone, refreshment facilities all around the ground,a shop where you can buy Shirts etc,a brilliant pitch compared to days gone by,brilliant lighting of the pitch corporate areas etc.All these things cost and to increase the ticket price by a small amount is no meen fete.Well done to the board.liverpoolann wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2024 10:56 pm Every club has a cheapskate and ours is a wind up merchant. Re: Ticket price rises
So funny people moaning about this, I don’t think you moan when you get a pay rise every year at work? Its like when people complain about the price of a fredo chocolate bar “ oh I remeber when they were 5p what a rip off” yeah and how much money were you earning back when that was the case? Inflation happens for both products and ourselves the cost of living is real but as a club we definatly offer some of the most competitive prices across the whole board, food drink tickets kits
If you don’t want to “SUPPORT” the team by baying a couple extra quid go pay cheaper prices down at holker

Re: Ticket price rises
Why the sarcastic comment? You’d be a bit fed up choosing a seat for a big match not knowing the severely obstructed views and you pay full price and end up in a seat like this. It’s not a problem for a regular league match becuase you’d just move seats but the club should consider these seats at a reduced price in likely sell out games or take them off sale, or do you think fans should pay full price for this view?

Re: Ticket price rises
The view are shocking the two new ones are a total waste of money no matter how much you gloss it up with all the restricted views and then people talk about the money were spending on the pitch that’s probably about what you’ll spend on an average year anyway .and with the cladding the club tried to pull a fast one and not do it last year but then we told they had to do it to get the money of the money that’s been spent his money we had in horrendous

Re: Ticket price rises
Solution right here. Just acknowledge that they are poor views and price to reflect or take off sale. These seats would only be needed if we were expecting to sell the stand out.liverpoolann wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2024 10:56 pm In relation to the point raised by someone regarding the view from stands etc I think one option would be to show certain areas as restricted view then people can make their mind up.

Re: Ticket price rises
The same should be done for away fans, given the away stand is more likely to sell out than the home one. I walked through the home one out of interest at the Wigan game and the view isn't great just with the normal stanchions.Jonty wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2024 3:11 pmSolution right here. No one can deny that it was a job that had to be done though, but for a selection of seats you could offer reduced prices as above. You'd be pretty miffed to pay £20 and get the view above.

Re: Ticket price rises
So your alternative to fulfilling the criteria from the EFL and providing 2000 seats in a way that the club could at this moment in time could afford would be what? Yes what we have is not ideal and we would all have liked an all signing. and dancing 21st century multi million pound new stand to go the full length of the pitch to replace the current main stand but the truth is we couldn’t afford itcapman wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2024 2:48 pm The view are shocking the two new ones are a total waste of money no matter how much you gloss it up with all the restricted views and then people talk about the money were spending on the pitch that’s probably about what you’ll spend on an average year anyway .and with the cladding the club tried to pull a fast one and not do it last year but then we were told they had to do it to get the money
