Great draw. Let’s get HS bouncing. Can’t wait for that one.

All second round games are on Sky so can`t see Holker Street bouncing.

Re: Home to Derby
What like the Aston Villa game which was also televised and was a sell out - might not be a premier league side but it’s a fairly big sized club - who the last time we played them sadly we were robbed having a crowd due to Covidbehind the goals wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2024 10:39 pm All second round games are on Sky so can`t see Holker Street bouncing.

Re: Home to Derby
That’s a great draw for the club and for the fans.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

Re: Home to Derby
If it’s not a sell out with our fans surely we can increase the away allocation and try to make more money for the club.

Re: Home to Derby
Excellent draw and I would imagine the Rams will sell out the away allocation. A fine reward for Tuesday's win over Vale and am sure the Barrow public will support the game in numbers too.

Re: Home to Derby
I’d be surprised if Derby don’t sell out so at the very least the away end will be!behind the goals wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2024 10:39 pm All second round games are on Sky so can`t see Holker Street bouncing.
It’s a good draw imho, big enough club that we should get a decent crowd in and if they rest a few we’ll have a sniff of an upset

Re: Home to Derby
We played Derby away in the same competition in our first season back in the football league.
Match finished goalless but we lost on penalties.

Re: Home to Derby
Credit to Stephen Clemence for taking the first round tie seriously and playing a strong side. As he said in interview, at this stage of the season, players don't need to be rested.

Re: Home to Derby
Just focus on getting yourself to the game, forget about spreading negativity about how many will be there. I’ve said before, whoever turns up, we are grateful to them, those that don’t, it’s up to them, just over it FFS.behind the goals wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2024 10:39 pm All second round games are on Sky so can`t see Holker Street bouncing.
