I couldn't go, but got home to listen to the second half. Sounded like the usual Harrogate experience. Is it a bit worrying that we let them get on top after we scored (just going by sound of commentary)?

Injuries are mounting that’s the biggest concern.

We just sat deeper and deeper as we got closer to 90 after our goal. We also couldn't keep hold of the ball at all for the last 10 mins as there was some heavy legs and lots of changes

Their late onslaught was inevitable. Happens a lot in this league with teams 1 up, trying to see out the win.

Difference being last season we'd have sat deep for most of the match ,fortunately we now have a different football mentality!, we'll lose a few yes but I'd rather watch this than last season's laboured approach!

Good to get the result today against a typical dirty Harrogate side and the ref was on another planet. Great to get our first away victory today.

Worrying with another couple of injuries buy been a good week for the club

Great stuff - sounded like hard work but a battling performance and, in the end, a good win.

Listened to Clemence interview - great - but then it went straight into one with the Carlisle boss, and now all RC’s analysis is about that. If they win, we have to hear about how they’re world beaters; if they lose, we have to have an in depth break down about that.

Anyway, cracking start to the season and long may it continue!

We are not a bad side this year...I was concerned that a new manager would affect our progress and its always a lottery with young managers (see Dunn etc), but SC seems to have them playing attractive football with added steel.

Was in the area for a wedding so booked an extra night so I could see the match today.Really glad I did.Really battling performance by the Bluebirds.The right team won in the end in spite of the ref.Couldn,t understand some of his decisions.and he kept slowng the game with dodgy decisions.Harrogate just seemed intent on crippling our players and he just waved play on.Unbelievable.
