I can tell you as a Chelsea season ticket holder (a friendly one) that we definitely do not get any cup games free with our ruinously expensive season tickets. We should, but we don't.behind the goals wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2024 11:05 pm Talking to a supporter after the game and he said Chelsea have 28,000 season ticket holders who get the league cup included, so does that mean we only get a share of the gate money from above that figure, might not be the financial money spinner we had hoped for.

Friendly Chelsea fan here - you probably don't need this advice, but I would strongly advise checking the state of the tube lines first.andyg wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2024 6:38 pm I am in the Trust - I didn't know if they did pick ups or not. If they do then who do I contact?
Thought of driving to Stanmore (which I don't really want to do) then the Tube from Stanmore to Fulham Broadway it takes about an hour with a couple of changes at Earls Court & Green Park.

Chelsea fan here again. I don't think there's much problem with Fulham Broadway before the game. It IS a problem after games. Depending on where you're going, walking to Parson's Green (going towards Wimbledon) or Earl's Court (toward centre of town) is recommended.EABluebird wrote: ↑Mon Sep 09, 2024 4:03 pm So tickets booked I’m staying in London after work and bringing a colleague (Arsenal supporter) so I hope we put on a show!
My advice for anyone travelling by train is avoid Fulham Broadway it will be ram packed, Earle’s Court tube - near where the away pubs are situated or West Bromford overground station (mixed pubs) and walk through the cemetery - this is closer to the stadium (15 min walk).
All the pubs around SB are home only.
I just hope we score and make a good account of ourselves; free hit this one and few quid in the coffers.

Hi tyroneshoelaces how do you think your police will handle a 12 coach convoy coming into central London? Are we going to be shunted into some suburb miles from the ground as all the closest pubs are taken over by Chelsea supporters?

Do you think London has never seen a few coaches turning up?Methuselah wrote: ↑Sat Sep 21, 2024 11:08 pm Hi tyroneshoelaces how do you think your police will handle a 12 coach convoy coming into central London? Are we going to be shunted into some suburb miles from the ground as all the closest pubs are taken over by Chelsea supporters?

Jesus mate…..I’m pretty sure Chelsea get more away fans than this every week in league game ffs! Yes great numbers for us but this will be nothing amazing in their books Jesus ChristMethuselah wrote: ↑Sat Sep 21, 2024 11:08 pm Hi tyroneshoelaces how do you think your police will handle a 12 coach convoy coming into central London? Are we going to be shunted into some suburb miles from the ground as all the closest pubs are taken over by Chelsea supporters?

Hi mickycarol
Surely most away fans from other clubs either come by train or on the tube.Because of where we come from we have to come by coach and there are quite a few coaches. It is not unusual to ask a question off somebody who supports Chelsea whether they think we are going to.be miles away from.the ground. Most other clubs have direct rail connections to London.
The reason I asked is because 12 coaches together will give the police a logistical.problem and we could all get sent in different directions around London.I can remember going to the 1990 FA Trophy final on the train from Barrow and the police kept us on it at Wembley Station until about an hour before kick off and then escorted us to the Wembley Stadium and wouldn,t allow us to stop at a pub.We had to go straight to the ground.
When I went to Middlesborough all coaches were held on a slip road and again we were escorted to the ground without being allowed to get off the coaches .I don,t want to see this happening again after a seven hour coach journey. That is the reason I asked one of their supporters what their police normally do when faced with a large number of coaches all arriving in the same place at the same time.

Don’t worry!
If you have to wait a hour on the coach the police will use the time to teach you how to put paragraphs in a post!
