The Goose pub is alright, personally (could be wrong but asked a few Chelsea fans) don’t think they care about away fans on a game like this, it’s subjective and we’re hardly a rival.EABluebird wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2024 4:42 pmThis
Earls Court is usually the away hang out, no idea about pubs specifically though.
Chelsea up next

Plenty in the Earls Court pubs pre match. Although we got refused from one bar Chelsea only. Had a chat and moved on politely. It was half empty

With the exception of Adam’s input, Radio Cumbria is pretty shocking tonight. The presenter and ‘roving reporter’ clearly know nowt about the team; no real analysis, just lots of vacuous, generic statements. Amateur hour! Stuck with it unfortunately. Roll on kick off and someone who actually knows the team!
C’mon you Bluebirds!

I disagree it’s been good has it has all day. Loads of coverage on Mike Zeller morning show with interview with Tony shearer then a reporter at the ground speaking to fans before they set off then speaking to fans as they travellled down on the bus. Sophie Mason roving reporter is from Carlisle based but did a good job interviewing plus Adam and Boydy are excellent.standishbluebird wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2024 7:15 pm With the exception of Adam’s input, Radio Cumbria is pretty shocking tonight. Re: Chelsea up next
Unfortunately, with the rights restrictions even with VPN can't listen to RC, lucky TalkSport2 thinks I'm in London listening
Re: Chelsea up next
Mike Zeller has done a wonderful job on Radio Cumbria, despite the fact he's a Carlisle fan and a season ticket holder, as has all of RC.
Be thankful you don't support a club in Yorkshire, because if you did you will find that if a Leeds player farts in public you'll never hear the last of it, but if Guisley beat Liverpool in an FA cup tie you might get a mention at best.
Be thankful with what you have.

Re: Chelsea up next
Well, if Feeley had have stepped up with the rest of the defence and Farman put his wall in the right place, there'd be nothing in this

Re: Chelsea up next
Think he should never have changed the formation.Players not had time to get used to it.Damage limitation this half .I know big gap in quality but we not able to get much time on the ball at all.Hopefully we improve second half.Play for pride did well to get this far.

Re: Chelsea up next
It’s nothing to do with VPN
Talksport has the international rights for one
They also have the EFL rights for two
We can not broadcast online apart from via the clubs website

Re: Chelsea up next
Please try and deconstruct that first half.
Chelsea forward line is composed of two Portuguese internationals, a French international and an Ukraine international.
They are better in every aspect of the game. Chelsea are able to play stuff that you just don’t see in League 2. Pace is frightening. Quality way beyond our level.
Crowd is very good though. Atmosphere is good generally though a few [SwearFilter] BAFC fans picking fights with stewards.
Support fantastic.
