Yer basically as said earlier they’ve done what usually the club doesn’t do and sold the terracing firstCubbins Paratrooper wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2024 10:28 am MFC now appear to have sold all standing tickets for Saturday's game plus 185 in the East Stand. Not sure of that stand's capacity, is it around 600? If so, they've a way to go yet.

Hopefully get somewhere near selling out but they are in a crap position and probably down to injuries. Watched a game of theirs and they don't play like the position in league shows. Won't be an easy ride but looking forward to this one and hope we can generate the noise to push the boys over the line!

'Local' derbies often throw up shocks....us scoring five would be a shock, for sure. Hopefully, a decent crowd in and a good performance and positive result to send us all home happy.

They certainly know where the net is, and have very decent strikers. Wonder if we could maybe swap a couple, say Tollit and Hope.
Re: Barrow v Morecambe, 12th October
Great idea that. Let’s go sign hope who’s scored 24 times in the past 7 years, 2 seasons of which spent in non league and tollit who’s spent the past 6 seasons milling between the conference north and conferenceDesmond2-2 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2024 5:26 pm They certainly know where the net is, and have very decent strikers. Morecambe failed to score in any of their first 6 league games.
They have only scored 8 league goals (2 of them being own goals).
Barrow have scored 13.
Tollit has scored 2 goafrom 10 appearances, Hope 1 goal from 7 appearances.
So much for their decent strikers.

Hope with one league goal this season and tollit with 2. If they played for us you’d be shouting for their heads
