Funny old game though football.
Gillingham (1 place above us before yesterday's games) lost 2-1 at home to Accrington (1 place above Morecambe).
Gillingham have also lost all 3 matches (2 at home) since beating us there.
I wonder if Gillingham fans are in meltdown the same as most on here are?

It was beautiully placed and well taken, just a pity we couldn,t do that .Hopefully the players will look at where they went wrong and make sure we win against Accrington next Saturday. If we lose against them questions will have to be asked about our team selection and preparation.
Game were you watching ?
Kouyate lost the ball a dozen times and crosses in the box were that high we needed one of the seagulls signed on to head it in ! Service from both wingers was poor.
Possession doesn't win you games but like you I did say this is the sort of game we could easily lose ! Plus agree Accrington is a must win if we are to stay in the top 3 race although a long way to go

Let’s be really honest local derby, massive crowd, we’re top they are bottom, we’re over confident they’ve got nothing to lose. Was anyone expecting anything different.
It was a bit like watching England V Greece the other night very frustrating. At least it gives us chance for a reset with a weeks break.
Last season it was always ours to throw away and in true Barrow style we achieved that. We’ve topped the league twice in its early infancy and expectations were set very high.
League two is all about fine margins so let’s not get too downhearted we go again against Accy let’s get behind the boys and trust them to get a result.

On the plus side at least the Tannoys been fixed and commentator very clear👍😁

Hopefully the worst game we will see all season only difference between the teams was they scored we didn't, need a bounce back at Accy then all will be forgiven.

Well, I sure know how to pick 'em. I haven't yet seen us take a point in 2024. This season's tally reads P 4 W 0 D 0 L 4 F 0 A 12 (includes Kilmarnock friendly). I should have known what was coming as I drove through rain of biblical proportions from Lockerbie - Gretna and then a closed M6 southbound around Kendal.

Playing against the wind in the first half I thought that if we can get to half-time at 0 - 0 then we'd be set fair for a good 2 or 3 in the second. Sure enough, first half we played some tidy stuff, kept it on the deck most of the time but without ever finding the final ball, the killer pass to open them up. But that second half performance was just horrible. Not one player could claim to have been at their best. It was just toothless and a Derek Adams side will take advantage. I'll give notice when I plan the next foray south so that you can find an excuse not to be able to turn up because I'm having no luck at all with the games I pick.

As an aside, I thought the booing of Tom White was unnecessary.
Don't let the old man in.

Maybe we thought the wind would do it for us, it’s sometimes better playing against the wind as both sides shown.
Agree re booing of Tom White a great servant to this club always gave a 100% we definitely showed a lack of class there. On a footnote there were plenty of folk from the stand applauding Morecambe at the finish so not all bad.

White had a solid game for them and I do think we should have kept hold of him. Would have allowed us to rest Campbell and Spence when needed. We are currently light in midfield and not sure why we didn't think to replace White if we weren't keeping him

The difference is Morecambe like Greece wanted it more than England or Barrow and turned possession into goals.
Don't forget the game tonight can be streamed Hellas versus Ireland

Bit sad to see a few boos for Tom White but there was plenty of applause from the main stand too and he gave a clap around as he left. Wasn’t his choice to leave….Typical White game he got stuck in fell over a bit, got a booking and was then walking a tightrope. Shame Ray was injured - both were good servants for us and I still would rather have kept Ray over Feeley…

To be fair he got clapped off when he got subbed off; just after he easily could have got a second yellow card, one of those if he hadn’t already been booked he probably would have

Hopefully this under achieving squad can keep us up we get beaten in league 2 and it's always doom and gloom, regarding who give the green light to the signings that's probably our new CEO we all need to keep patient plenty of teams will also get beat next week.

Saving grace is it is still tight at the top!

No need to go full on meltdown just yet despite yesterday's disappointment.

Concentrate on our own game, get back to winning ways and let's see where we are come January?

As much as we all want to win every game, reality is there will be blips and bumps.

Attendance was given after the game don`t know why people keep saying it.
