Poor to hear a player family assaulted a BAFC supporter.

What a disgusting thing to happen hope the supporter is OK, a family member of one of our players assaulting a fan is awful hope the person is giving a life ban from all home & away games and if the player doesn't like it so be it.

I would imagine they were being a Richard head and his mam quite rightly had a pop. The guy never stops running and someone gives him cr@p. Dont blame her!!!!!

Got to politely disagree with your opinion there I thought our support today mirrored the attackers. They were there alright but you could be forgiven for thinking they weren't. Don't think in all my years going I've ever been in such a large, and largely anonymous crowd. Not blaming them and fair play for travelling in such numbers but there definitely comes a time when the happenings on the pitch effect the atmosphere off it. It's just not happening is it. Blame the ref, formations, injuries, whatever. If you don't shoot you can't score.

Well all I could hear all the way through was barrow making the noise.. so unless it was a recording I will still say, well done. Even the commentator mentioned how vocal we were.

Entitled to your opinion, as were the Accrington fans who got sick of chanting "Barrow give us a song". Don't believe everything you hear, we were comatosed up front as well as in the away paddock.

Our forward players are Dallas, Garner, Newby, Kouyate, Telford, Acquah, Popov, & Mahoney how many IF we could would fans get rid off in the January transfer window, plus how does the management get the best from them.

You know when you’ve watched Newport and Cheltenham and possibly Swindon and walked away going they are sh!te, well that’s us. We are bobbins. We don’t have a striker or strike partnership, we play 4 centre mids (reminds me of jolly days) so bizarre to do that today and then we get out first shot on target in the 78th minute. Huge questions asked imo

Given the size of the Barrow following, we should have been much louder. We were noisy at the start but their goal punctured the atmosphere and apart from a few spells in the second half, the fans were relatively quiet, despite Barrow Aberdeen’s best efforts. Once they scored you could feel the sense of an inevitable loss seep through the crowd. Accrington fans didn’t make a lot of noise until the final whistle. We had a similar number at Crewe last December - funny how much noise you can make when you win 3-1….

On the match itself, not much to add to what has been said above - we are missing that positive forward play we had just a few weeks ago. The players had a lot of time on the ball but you could see them getting frustrated by the lack of options in front. Maybe we play better on the counter attack (the views of the neutral supporter above are a good insight - I was also at Grimsby and the two matches were so different, with a very similar Barrow team.

One final point (and I have no idea what happened with the player’s family), I don’t mind a bit of industrial language at matches but some of our fans need to ask what they think they will achieve by the stuff they should at the linesmen a few yards away - if they weren’t against Barrow at the start of the match, some of the abuse might just push them that way. By all means be vocal, but some if it is just embarrassing - I take my grandkids to some matches and I do wonder whether I should at times. The best way to support the team is by being loud and getting behind them - humour works better - singing “We are top of the league” as we did at Chelsea is much more effective than calling everyone a c**t….Sorry if you think that is what going to a match is all about, I don’t.

Was surprised by some of the negativity in the crowd today, near to where I was.
Not proper support, in my view, for a team just off their game a bit at the moment.
Don’t really get how much the team get slagged off on here either.
Yes, I know it’s opinions, but seems to me that some people have short memories and unrealistic expectations, and in some cases have little idea about football at this level.

A fan was certainly slapped by a woman i witnessed it and according to reports I believe it was Kian Spence’s mother who slapped one of the fans.

Some of the foul abuse by young males was embarrassing to the extent I moved. It was constant at the officials players etc. Surprised the ball boys never got any. Won't be taking my young grandchild anywhere near an away game anytime soon.

There was a lot of foul abuse and it was disgusting and embarrassing. It reflects badly on the town and its people. Same at Wimbledon last year. We’d have moved if possible- but no room really. Then seriously abusing the players at the end is just not on. Criticise by all means but personal abuse is just abhorrent. Moronic and disgusting and it just puts people off.
