Hard to get excited for this as it's league two vs league two but it's winnable, be a hard game and if anything we are due some luck.

Still mad to think about how things change. 10 years ago when we were getting knocked out by Runcorn in the 2nd qualifying round, reaching the point of Doncaster at home in round 1 would have been enough to make a season seem fairly successful.

FA Cup games do not have the appeal to many that they once did have. Its not only us its across the EFL and Premier league.

FA Cup games do not have the appeal to many that they once did have. Its not only us its across the EFL and Premier league.

And of course the blame for that lies (1) with the FA, with the changes they have made in recent years devaluing the competition, and (2) with the top clubs putting out reserve teams.

You're spot on with your analysis. The should have given one of the four Champions league places to the FA Cup winner IMO. There would then be no devaluing of the FA Cup and the premier league clubs would quickly start putting out full strength sides if that was the case.

Totally agree. More of an achievement to win the FA Cup than to finish 4th. Nobody can remember who finished 4th but you do remember who won the Cup. Also there should be something done to entice Season Ticket holders to these games such as discounts or tokens for food / drink in the ground.
