Very good.
Plenty of craic with the Elvis songs but maybe the link isn't so tenuous after all because guess what Elvis' middle name was? So l guess the lad's Dad was happy to promote the rather iffy association too. I remember the Dad being interviewed on RC when he was Carlisle's boss. Very tetchy customer who took umbrage at every question posed in the post match interviews. The RC presenters were on pins with him - quite funny really.

Back on topic l hope Aaron does well for both our sakes. So give the lad plenty of support and don't be cruel. (Have we had that one?)
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...

Don't think he lasted long at Carlisle always got the feeling when he was on Radio Carlisle he would end up giving the interviewer the Glasgow kiss.
More entertaining than Paul Simpson who could put a glass eye to sleep.

I have been amused by people asking for a new striker do you not realise we have including the signing yesterday we have EIGHT on the books DALLAS, GARNER, TELFORD, AQUAH, MAHONEY, KIRK, KOUYATE and now PRESSLEY it must be the most forwards in any league 2 club and still we cannot find one that works and that's down to the manager and staff, something needs to change but don't keep posting on here we need one we have eight. :sentoff:

It's not down to the manager unless he brought them in as most of them are useless. It's down to whoever recruited them.

The problem is that the strikers we bring in are from Blackpool Beach.

Their inability to find the net is down to the coaching staff led by Head Coach Clemence.

Ok, our forwards haven't been doing the business this year.
But what about our midfielder quartet of Kian Spence, Dean Campbell, Robbie Gotts, and Sam Foley?
Last season, they contributed with 19 goals between them.
This season, with half of it gone, they have the paltry total of 3 goals.
To me that's also a problem area.

And also down to the Head Coach.

If players lack basic ability, no coach can improve them. You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear!

No. It's a valid point but the midfield shouldn't be expected to cover up the attacking deficiencies. Goals from midfield are a bonus but the main goals should be from attacking players. Other than Spence who is well down on last season we don't have any attacking midfield players. Gotts will never score many goals and Campbell is playing more or less as a holding midfield player since White was released.
