My protest began a month ago via my wallet by not attending home games and since then spending my time and money at Craven Park, the other professional Barrow outfit, a team the town can be proud of, who play entertaining rugby, who score every game - 58 points today - who win games, who give fans something to cheer about and most importantly for my wife's sakes, I come home happy with a smile on my face. Going to Holker St. the opposite has been true since October.

As one who remembers the sick feeling when we lost our league status in 1972, the thought of it happening again is frightening.

Regarding Clemnce's position, we have only had one game with the new players that we have signed in the hopes of improving things. They need at least a couple of games to settle into the team. In spite of how dire things have been over the last 3 months, I think we need to stick with him for the next couple of matches, but if we don't see battling, convincing performances against Grimsby, Doncaster and Newport then time must surely be up.

Football is ruthless, nobody feels sorry for you if you’ve had injuries or you’ve got little or no infrastructure, no reserve side and you don’t train in the town you represent.

Football will chew you up and spit you out no bother. From what I’ve seen these last few months there has been a complete dereliction of duty from both the coach and the BOD where’s the leadership where’s the management.
It’s dead simple do what you get paid for to the required standard or do one.

Where’s the spirit from the players where’s the commitment. Key elements of success missing in droves.

Decisiveness is everything, we don’t need words we don’t need meetings we need decisions we need a plan. Who knows maybe there is one but it’s not being shared with us.

We love our club dearly but as hard as it is we need to be decisive and halt this downward spiral to oblivion. We are definitely not too good to go down. We need a plan to avoid relegation and we Fking need one now.

There have been lots of people who know what they want including me, I have always said "Premier league footballers" do not make good managers.

I’d have to say after the last two showings and results against equally poor teams in Harrogate and Swindon, out. I’m not sure what he is trying to do with style of play, formation etc. we chop and change from
One game to the next in desperation and with no real idea or plan. We played long ball today and had three players going for the same ball at one point and neither winning it. I’m not sure we can afford to waste any more time something is seriously wrong. The players reaction at the end, the fans reaction - I’ve not seen booing or insults like that for a long time. It wasn’t this bad under Cooper and we sacked him. I think Clemence has tried everything in formation and tactics that he can think of and still hasn’t found a way, he’s out of ideas and time. The new signings aren’t going to make an instant impact but maybe a new manager will. Something has to change as how many teams below us have now taken points off us? At this rate there’s going to be no one else below us….

Today was a shambles..

We had our own players almost on top of one and other, we were too close and tight.

With the Elvis up front it was clear we have a potentially decent signing and someone who needs decent delivery and it was clear the formation was wrong!

Duru looked promising, would even play him as a winger looking at how he took players on.

We didn't use the pitch and the space, we were almost tackling each other. Time to get back to basics imo, simple 4 4 2 and use the space, this is league two not the champions league and I think sometimes, managers/coaches loose site of this in an attempt to replicate what they see in the premier league.

Some might get away with it and pull it off with plenty of practice and the right players, unfortunately that's not us.

But having no plan b let alone a plan a was the final straw for me. We have had a two week break after a hectic patch and realistically, we should have come away comfortably with at least a point especially against a team which for me was the poorest quality I've seen this season. So alarm bells now ringing, let's not be getting in a dog fight that we can't fight.

I've been giving Steven Clemence the benefit of the doubt for some weeks now hoping the transfer window would help. It hasn't. Today at Swindon was dire. What were those tactics and how come he waited so long to change it when everyone could see it was working. Everyone except the head coach that is.
Questions need to be answered about why we lost Pete Wild. Do you think the bod but too much stock into Ian Wood? I remember a free years ago the club did the same with Paul Cox's scout Paul Ogden. They thought he was the Messiah because he recommended a couple of good players. Hello also recommended By Badley Bauress. I rest my case. If I remember rightly he was put above Paul Cox as a kind of director of football and rightly so Cox walked. Is this what happened with Wild? I believe if Pete had stayed he would eventually have got it right, we will however never know.
We have been bottom of the League 2 form table now for a number of weeks and can you really see us beating the likes of Carlisle and Morecambe with Clemence in charge? No, me neither!
