Re: Clemence Leaves Barrow
Wasn’t to be for him. He came across really well and a nice guy, but I think this was inevitable after today. Wish him well for the future .
Will be interesting to see what direction the board go with for the next head coach.

Absolutely the right call. Now lets get behind whoever is entrusted with keeping us in league 2 as it’s still going to take some effort.

Yep, seemed like a decent chap, but that couldn’t continue. Right call and we move on.

Yep - he just happened to be terrible in his professional role at the club.standishbluebird wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2025 9:24 pm Yep, seemed like a decent chap, but that couldn’t continue. Right call and we move on.

Re: Clemence Leaves Barrow
If anything he might be too nice to make it as a manager. Yet another massive call for the board, do they go with someone till end of the season purely to keep us up or someone they can see here long term. Going to be a big turnover over players this summer as well

Pete Wild will be laughing his socks off. What a disastrous appointment was Clemence? We need a manager not a coach. Someone who understands league 2. Paul Simpson anybody ?

Re: Clemence Leaves Barrow
Will cost over £100,000 to pay up Clemence/Stockdale contract, yet again we have to get rid of Managers on good Contracts, thankfully the Chelsea money will help the owners, how long does the next one last?.
Re: Clemence Leaves Barrow
Shame as he seemed a genuine bloke and I wanted it to work for him. Best of luck to him in terms of whatever he does next.
Sound like a broken record here but this squad needs to pull up their socks somewhat. They've been poor for 12 months under two different coaches. Whoever comes in next will have their work cut out to get them firing.

Popular side since '03.

Wrong that they get paid the full contracts.
Does it happen to Joe Bloggs?

It was hardly rot , one place off the play offs ? Ok we hit a PW so called bump , but this year we’ve fallen off a cliff. £ to a penny Fleetwood finish above us .Big E wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2025 9:33 pmTo be fair, the rot started under wildblumooncrab wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2025 9:30 pm Pete Wild will be laughing his socks off.
