Assuming we see this season out there is going to have to be a massive clear out in the summer. We just aren’t good enough!

This has been as bad as Saturday was good, hopefully the confidence we built up after the win against Grimsby hasn't been knocked too much.
Popular side since '03.

Need to work on passing and second balls in training, quality of second balls, holding onto possession, stepping off teams and just aimless balls needs to be stopped, also maybe have a shot at goal from 25 yards out cause we seem to want to walk the ball into the net all the bloody time.

Beaten by a very well organised team tonight. Gave Donny two goals. We were always going to struggle to break them down after going two down.

Lots of huffing and puffing from Barrow. Plenty of possession. Lacking any real quality. No end product. Can’t argue with the result. Best team won.

Chance to put it right at Newport and we really need to put it right to build confidence. There was some good stuff at times but some dire stuff much of which can be put right through concentration on what your individual job is at times. Donny are a decent side all said and done we just didn’t need to help them along the way with our errors.

We reverted to type in the first half. In the second there was, at least, intent. Once he's tightened us up we'll be OK. Pitch didn't help, mind.
Don't let the old man in.

I think the pitch helped Donny to two of their goals combined with lapses of concentration of course.🥲

Lack of quality in both boxes for us and that was the end of it.

Focus remains on staying up and having a good clear out.

For me there was no point in getting too up about Saturday as Grimsby were really poor and again no point in getting too down about tonight as Donny were very good.
That said it was very even until we gifted them a 2 goal lead.
Agree that Farman looks past his best. Have been one of his biggest supporters but he is becoming a liability now.
Also worried about the drop off in Jackson. He looked great early season but can’t put a foot right now.

Think he's a confidence type player - not sure he's that good when things are not going too well. Also feel Stanway deserves a chance. However, Newport is an important game - must not lose (hopefully). But we simply must stop giving other teams gifts. This is a league where the less mistakes you make the higher in the division you go. The leaks in our defence is soul destroying. Other than last Saturday when is the last time we have kept a clean sheet - Fleetwood I reckon. When is the last time we've kept a clean sheet away from home? Could be wrong be I think its Harrogate!

Not taking anything away from Doncaster as they are clearly a good side but that was as poor from us as anything we have seen recently.
We only started showing some urgency when Newby and Tiensia came onto the pitch. At least they will try and run with the ball. Hope Whing can see tonight where are frailties are and he needs to work out quickly that our set pieces are not very good.
Baffled why he took off Smith

Doncaster are comfortably the best side I have seen us play against at Holker street this season. Technically very very good and well organised. In Luke Molyneux the have arguably one of the best players in league 2.
I wouldn't say we were dreadful just Doncaster were very good.
For me Duru was found wanting tonight defensively. To many times he was the wrong side of the attacking player and it was no surprise when he got subbed. He is young and raw and has undoubted talent but the defensive side of his game needs some work IMO.
