Almost completely agree with your list although I'd also very strongly add Campbell.WillBAFC wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2025 12:45 pmNow isn’t that just the question. The fact there are so few nailed on starters shows the real inconsistency of the squad. For me, the only ones who warrant a place week in, week out are Canavan, Vassell, Jackson (although he’s been missing as of late), Spence and Gotts. Duru looks good too, but obviously still learning.

Re: January Signings?
Said Garner and Telford not in the squad so expecting one or both to go. Got a feeling another striker coming in (Wrexham just signed 2 decent strikers) see if Mullin available

Re: January Signings?
Telford scored 5 goals in 50 games for Barrow according to Wikipedia.
I didn’t think he’d scored that many.

Take it we are paying part of his wages if it’s a good deal for themMcMark wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2025 6:02 pm https://barnetfc.com/dom-telford-joins-the-bees
Good luck to Dom, a good deal allround, we move on.

"The bottom line is Dom’s a killer in the box.." - Barnet Press Release.
I should have gone to Specsavers.

No we certainly were not settled before the Chelsea game.olbarrafancumbak wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2025 3:55 pmWere we not settled pre Chelsea and pre injuries?saltcellar wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2025 2:55 pm
Interesting about so few nailed on starters.
Adam said in the Barrow Social that we have never played the same side in consecutive games this season.
Maybe that is a big reason why we are where we are in the league?
Need a group that's consistent and together, chopping and changing will not help with results and probably wouldn't help with player mentality not knowing if your in or your out?
From the team that started in the opening game against Crewe, 2 changes were made against Carlisle, Gotts and Eccleston replaced Campbell and Feely.
3 changes were then made against Port Vale, Feely, Kouyate and Garner for Eccleston, Newby and Acquah.
At Harrogate, Eccleston and Popov came in for Feely and Mahoney.
1 change was made against Swindon at home, Newby replacing Popov.
At Grimsby 4 changes were made, Stanway, Feely, Foley and Popov in for Farman, Eccleston, Gotts and Kouyate.
In the last league game before Chelsea at home to Newport, Farman came back in for Stanway, while Stokes and Kouyate replaced Canavan and Popov.
So there were 15 changes in 6 games.

But as mentioned, a settled first 11 and consistency is what we need.
