The reality is if we can’t secure 6-9 points from the 39 left available we deserve to be relegated. An absolute travesty we have to be looking at other results considering where we were. Let’s hope we don’t do a Woking. :scarf:

Depends if our half arsed out of Contract players can help our Contracted players, but after already losing at home to Morecambe, Harrogate & Carlisle how do we beat Accrington & Tranmere, can`t see us getting points away so we may well have to rely on others to survive.

As I've noted before, at this stage of the season and in the position of the clubs in the bottom 6 winning is everything. Three points makes a big difference. Hence why Thursday night was so bad. A bore draw would have been horrible to watch but great for our prospects. But there is still a double digit difference between us and the bottom two. Morecambe and Carlisle have also to play each other.

Because of this, Tranmere are the key. It's quite possible that Carlisle or Morecambe could make a break - though I have to say that Morecambe's position is beginning to look increasingly weak. But unless our results are devastatingly bad from hereon in, the odds of both these sides finishing above us are still pretty low. So apart from our own, Tranmere's are the first team whose results I follow.

Tranmere add a third threatened side into the mix and their fixtures in March (before they come to us in April) look tough in terms of the current form of the teams they play. They have parted company with Nigel Adkins and apparently put up a really decent fight at home to Port Vale today (as might be expected) but with only a point forthcoming. They'll get a new manager and we know what that can mean, But put simply, IMO if we stay above Tranmere we'll be ok.

But I'm not in the business of supporting a team who cannot scrape a minimum number of points from where we are to where we need to be. If we cannot do that we do not deserve to be in the EFL. Period. Don't need a forum to come to that conclusion.

The teams at the bottom are so bad, I'd say we would have fair chance of staying up if we didn't get another point!

Accy putting a bit of daylight between themselves and the bottom 3. The 2 within reach of us - Chesterfield and Cheltenham - picking up points.
Don't let the old man in.

Not sure there's any pressure on us anymore. We're done for.

But we all know a Morecambe win won`t be a surprise on Saturday, got to be better than last Season.

You’ve got 3 home games in a row now; sure Morecambe and Tranmere would love that coming up

I think it's a Godfrey moment - "we're all doomed Mr. Mainwearing, we're all doomed'! :D
