Re: GMV - kindly sponsored by Dandy’s, Steve Leonard, Stu Rodgers, John Goodwin & Surrey Barrovian.
One of the more recent jobs we’ve been doing is the pop side car park path. It was a little bit “not straight”. I think the club are now looking at the possibility of concreting it over in between the beams.
A huge thanks to liverpoolann who has once again given us a very generous donation.
Also a mention to PC Lettings who raffled off a signed shirt on their corporate afternoon and donated the cash to us for our kitty.
Both donations are greatly appreciated.

We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

The materials used were bought with donations from Gilmour fabrications.

The (never ending) refreshing the paint on the pitch perimeter walls and smaller dividing walls. Always an expensive & time consuming job but one that needs doing.

A before and after of the floodlight room. The brickwork was falling apart and apart from it looking a mess it became a waste of time re-painting it - so we re-used the left over cladding (which we snaffled after Cumbria Roofing finished cladding the new stands). A huge improvement and one that won’t require us re-visiting each summer.

Re: GMV - kindly sponsored by Dandy’s, Steve Leonard, Stu Rodgers, John Goodwin & Surrey Barrovian.
On top of what we’ve just posted we have two, possibly three huge jobs to take on over the summer which won’t be cheap and won’t be quick to complete. Our numbers are probably better than ever with up to thirty-forty plus people in the group and a regular twelve to eighteen volunteers each week. A problem we will have in the next few months will be taking on these bigger jobs on top of a list that continues to grow. If anyone could spare a bit of time to help us out over the summer it would be greatly appreciated, there literally are jobs for anyone, skilled or unskilled.
It’s also that time of year when we are seeking sponsors, whilst the GMV kitty is looking quite healthy at the moment with some great people & businesses continuing to back us we also know that it takes some big hits over summer. If anyone is interested in helping out financially (any amount is obviously welcomed) please get in touch. We’d be happy to show you around and explain where the money is spent.
